REGULATION of the PRESIDENT of the REPUBLIC of INDONESIA NUMBER 34 in 2010 ABOUT the INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES of COUNTRIES with the GRACE of GOD ALMIGHTY the PRESIDENT of the Republic of INDONESIA, Considering: a. that in order to face the demands and challenges of the development of the strategic environment as well as to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the implementation of the duties and functions of the State Intelligence Agency to do the refinement and revitalizing the Organization State Intelligence Agency; b. that with respect to any such matters on the letter a, viewed the need to reorganize the intelligence agencies of countries with presidential regulation; Remember: article 4 paragraph (1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia in 1945; Decide: Define: REGULATION Of The PRESIDENT Of The COUNTRY'S INTELLIGENCE AGENCY. Deputy Field within the country; f. Deputy Counter Intelligence Field; g. Deputy Economics; h. Deputy Field technology; i. a Deputy Field processing and production; j. Main Inspectorate; k. Ideological field of expert staff; b. expert staff Politics; m. Law expert staff; n. socio-cultural Field expert staff; o. expert staff areas of Defense and security; p. Center; and q. Article 24 in carrying out the tasks referred to in Article 23, Deputy V organizes functions: a. the planning and implementation of activities and/or technology field intelligence operations; b. detecting and identifying intelligence technology development; c. pengkoordinasian activity and/or technology field intelligence operations; d. pengkoordinasian security intelligence communications system; e. intelligence technology; and f. control activities and/or intelligence operations technology.

Article 30 in carrying out the tasks referred to in Article 29, the main Inspectorate organises functions: a. completion of internal auditing policy formulation; b. implementation of internal auditing on performance and finance through audit, reviu, evaluation, monitoring, and other surveillance activities; c. implementation of oversight for a specific purpose over the assignment of Head BIN; and d. the preparation of reports on the results of supervision. Part Twelve expert staff of article 31 (1) the expert staff are below and are accountable to the head of the BIN. (2) the expert staff has the task of providing research to Head BIN on the issue of appropriate specific fields of expertise.

Article 32 expert staff consists of: a. the Ideological Field expert staff; b. expert staff Politics; c. Law expert staff; d. socio-cultural Field expert staff; and e. the expert staff of the field of Defense and security. Article 33 (1) Ideological Field expert staff has the task of providing research to Head IBN on the issue of ideology. (2) the expert staff Politics has the task of providing research to Head BIN about a political issue. (3) Legal expert staff has the task of providing research to Head BIN about legal issues. (4) the socio-cultural Field expert staff has the task of providing research to Head BIN about social issues culture. (5) the staff of Defense and Security Experts have the task of providing research to Head BIN on matters of Defense and security. The thirteenth section of Center Article 34 (1) of the neighborhood BIN centers could be established as a complementary element of the duties and functions of the BIN.
