ABOUT THE SECOND CHANGE IN THE RULES OF THE MINISTER OF LAW AND HUMAN RIGHTS

NUMBER M. HH-01.GR.01.06 IN 2010 ABOUT VISA VISITS UPON ARRIVAL

WITH THE GRACE OF GOD ALMIGHTY

MINISTER OF LAW AND HUMAN RIGHTS OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

DRAW: a. that the Special Economic Area is set to host economic functions and acquire certain facilities to accelerate economic development in certain areas of strategic importance for national economic development and to keep up the balance of progress of an area in the national economic unity;

b. that in order to provide for the ease of visa in the Special Economic Area under the laws, it needs to apply a Visit Visa policy upon arrival in particular which encourages the alignment of the economic functions on the Region Batam, Bintan and Karimun in the Riau Islands;

c. that under consideration as a letter of a and letter b, it is necessary to establish the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights on the Second Amendment to the Regulation of the Minister of Law and of the Law of the Law. 2. Law Number 39 Year 2009 on Special Economic Area (Indonesian Republic of Indonesia Year 2009 Number 147, Additional Gazette Republic of Indonesia Number 5066);

3. Government Regulation No. 32 of 1994 on Visa, Admission, And Immigration Clearance (State Of The Republic Of Indonesia In 1994 Number 55, Additional Gazette Republic of Indonesia Number 3563) as it has been several times

No. M. HH-08.GR.01.06 2009 on the Fourth Amendment to the Decree of the Minister of Justice Number M. 02-IZ.01.10 Year 1995 on Visa Layover, Visa Visiting, Visa Living Limited, Admission Permit, and Immigration Permission;

7. Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number M. 06-IL.01.10 Year 2006 on the Redemption of Special Facilities in the Field of Immigration on the Special Economic Area as amended by the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number M. 01-IL.01.10 Year 2007 on Changes to the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number M. 06-IL.01.10 Year 2006 on the Penetration of Special Facilities in the Immigration Field of the Special Economic Area;

8. Law and Human Rights Law Number M. 09-PR.07.10 Year 2007 on the Organization and Work Order of the Department of Law and Human Rights as amended last several times with the Ordinance of the Minister of Law and Human Rights. Number M. HH-10.OT.01.01 of 2009 on the Second Amendment to the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number M. 09-PR.07.10 Year 2007 on the Organization and the Work Order of the Department of Law and Human Rights;

9. Law and Human Rights Law Number M. HH-01.GR.01.06 Year 2010 on Visiting Visa upon Arrival as amended by the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number M. HH-03.GR.01.06 Year 2010 on the Change of the above Rule of Law and Human Rights Minister Number M. HH-01.GR.01.06 of 2010 on Visiting Visa On Arrival;

DECIDE:

Establits: THE RULES OF THE MINISTER OF LAW AND HUMAN RIGHTS ON THE SECOND CHANGE TO THE REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF LAW AND HUMAN RIGHTS NUMBER M. HH-01.GR.01.06 OF 2010 ON A VISIT VISA UPON ARRIVAL.

Article I

Some provisions in the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number M. HH-01.GR.01.06 Year 2010 on Visa Visiting During the Arrival (State News of the Republic of Indonesia Year 2010 Number 12) as it has been Amended by the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number M. HH-03.GR.01.06 Year 2010 on Changes to the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number M. HH-01.GR.01.06 Year 2010 on Visit Visa On Arrival (Country News) Republic of Indonesia 2010 Number 243), changed as follows:

1. The provisions of Section 5 are amended so that it reads as follows:

Section 5

Visiting Visa When the Arrival is provisioned for the most prolonged period of 30 (thirty) days provided:

a. can be extended to an immigration clearance of 1 (one) times for a period of 30 (thirty) days; and

b. could not be alihtalized as another Immigration Permit.

2. The provisions of Section 6 are amended so that it reads as follows:

Article 6

(1) Visiting Visa upon Arrival is granted by issuing a visa sticker on a Travel Letter or a valid National Passport or Passport.

(2) the visa cap and sticker form as referred to in paragraph (1) in accordance with the provisions of the laws.

3. The provisions of Article 8 are amended so that it reads as follows:

Article 8

(1) Visiting Visa upon arrival on the areas of the Special Economic Area Batam, Bintan, and Karimun in the Riau Islands may be given for a visit done groups with at least 4 (4) people's visitors.

(2) For a group visit collectively referred to in paragraph (1) is granted a Visiting Visa upon arrival for a term of 7 (seven) days.

(3) Visiting Visa On Arrival as referred to in paragraph (1) is provided with provisions:

a. satisfy the requirements as referred to in Article 4 of the paragraph (2); b. visitors as referred to in paragraph (1) enter and exit

simultaneously through the Immigration Examination; c. based on a guarantor request such as the travel agency or

the organizer of the activities addressed to the Chief Immigration Office that oversees Immigration Examination;

d. visits are held solely for tourist activities, conferences, exhibitions, national, regional, and international seminars, as well as government; and

e. could not be extended or re-alixable to other immigration permissions.

Article II

The Regulation of the Minister came into force on 1 June 2010.
