By the enactment of this Regulation, the Regulation of the Minister of Forestry Number P. 44/Menhut-II/2006 on the Organization and Work of the Fibre Kuok Forest Plant of Plant Research Hall, revoked and declared to be not applicable.
Section 19
The Minister of Forestry's rules came into effect on the date of the promulcity.

BAB I
THE POSITION, DUTY AND FUNCTION
Section 1
(1) The Forest Plant Serat Technology Research Hall is a technical managing unit in the field of forest plant fiber technology research which is below and is responsible to the Head of the Forest Research and Development Agency.
(2) Serat Plant Technology Research Hall is located in Kuok, Propinsi Riau and is led by a Chief.
Section 2
Forest Plant Technology Research Hall has the task of carrying out research at
the field of forest crop technology in accordance with laws.
Section 3
In carrying out the duties as referred to in Article 2, the Forest Plant Serat Technology Research Hall organizes a function:
a. Drafting of plans, programs and research budgets in the field of forest plant fiber technology;
B. the implementation of research and research cooperation in the field of forest crop fiber technology.
c. implementation of data services and information, science and technology, research results in the field of forest plant fiber technology;

FUNCTIONAL OFFICE GROUP
