ABOUT
AUTHORIZATION OPTIONAL PROTOCOL TO THE CONVENTION
ON THE RIGHTS OF THE CHILD ON THE SALE OF CHILDREN,
CHILD PROSTITUTION AND CHILD PORNOGRAPHY
(OPTIONAL PROTOCOL FOR CHILD RIGHTS CONVENTION REGARDING
CHILD SALES, CHILD PROSTITUTION, AND CHILD PORNOGRAPHY)
BY THE GRACE OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD
PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,
Weigh: a. that children have the right to be protected from economic exploitation and work on a job that endangers or interferes with child education, undermines physical, mental, spiritual, moral, moral, and social development of the child;
B. that child sales activities, child prostitution, and child pornography constitute a crime against humanity that must be eradicated;
c. that Indonesia as part of the international community must participate actively in order to prevent, eradicate, and punish perpetrators of criminal child sales, child prostitution, and child pornography embodied in the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the Child on the Sale of Children, Child Prostitution and Child Pornography (Optional Protocol For Child Rights Conventions regarding Child Sales, Child Prostitution, and Child Pornography);
D. that based on consideration as in letter a, the letter b, and the letter c need to validate the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the Sale of Children, Child Prostitution and Child Pornography (Optional Protocol For Child Rights Conventions regarding Child Sales, Child Prostitution, and Child Pornography) with Undang-Undang;
Remembering: 1. Section 5 of the paragraph (1), Article 11, Section 20, and Section 28B of the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia Year of 1945;

Act Number 24 Year 2000 on International Covenant (State Sheet Indonesia 2000 Number 185, Additional Gazette Republic of Indonesia Number 4012);

DECIDED:
SET: LEGISLATION ON ATTESTATION OPTIONAL PROTOCOL TO THE CONVENTION ON THE RIGHTS OF THE CHILD ON THE SALE OF CHILDREN, CHILD CHILD PORNOGRAPHY (OPTIONAL PROTOCOL OF THE CONVENTION CHILDREN ' S RIGHTS REGARDING CHILD SALES, CHILD PROSTITUTION, AND CHILD PORNOGRAPHY).
Section 1
(1) Passed the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the Sale of Children, Child Prostitution and Child Pornography (Optional Protocol of Child Rights Convention on the Sale of Children, Child Prostitution, and Pornography Son).
(2) Copy of the original Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the Child on the Sale of Children, Child Prostitution and Child Pornography (Optional Protocol of Child Rights Convention on the Sale of Children, Child Prostitution, and Child pornography) in English and translation in Indonesian as attached is an inseparable part of this Act.
Section 2
This Act goes into effect on the promulgated date.
