DECIDED:

Establish: LEGISLATION ON VETERANS OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA.

BAB I
UMUM CONDITIONS
Section 1
In this Act, it is referred to by:
1. Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia are Indonesian citizens who join the official armed forces recognized by the government who actively participate in a war against other countries and/or fall in battle for the cause of the war. defend and defend the sovereignty of the Republic of the Republic of Indonesia, or the citizens of Indonesia who participate actively in international forces under the mandate of the United Nations to carry out the world peace mission, which has been is set to be the recipient of an Honorary Sign of the Veteran

Section 2
Veterans of the Veterans ' Honor of the Republic of Indonesia is based on asas:
a. surprise;
B. nationality; and
C. welfare.

BAB II
VETERAN TYPE OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA
Section 3
(1) The Veteran type of the Republic of Indonesia is determined based on the vetherness event.

a.  Veterans of the Independence Fighters of the Republic of Indonesia;
B.  Veterans Defenders Independence of the Republic of Indonesia;

D.  Posthumous Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia.

Section 4
Veterans of the Independence Defenders of the Republic of Indonesia as referred to in Article 3 of the verse (2) the letter b consists of:
a.  Veterans Defenders Trikora;
B.  Veteran Defenders Dwikora;
C.  Veteran Defender Seroja; and
D.  The other Defenders veterans are set to be with the Presidential Decree.

Section 5
The Posthumous Veteran of the Republic of Indonesia as referred to in Article 3 of the paragraph (2) the letter d consists of:
a.  Posthumous Veteran of the Republic of Indonesia Independence Fighters;
B.  Veterans Posthumous Defense of the Republic of Indonesia independence; and
C.  Veterans Posthumous Peace Republic of Indonesia.

BAB III
VETERAN HONORARY SIGN
REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA
Section 6
The Veterans Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia can be granted to Citizens who join the official armed forces recognized by the government who actively participate in a war against other countries and/or fall in the United States. the battle to defend and defend the sovereignty of the Republic of the Republic of Indonesia, or the Citizen who plays an active role in international forces under the mandate of the United Nations to carry out world peace missions.

Section 7
(1) Veteran Honour of the Republic of Indonesia is given on the basis of a vehiness event.

Section 8
(1) The Veterans Honor of the Republic of Indonesia is granted by the President.
(2) Giving the Veterans Honours of the Republic of Indonesia as referred to in paragraph (1) is delegated to the Minister and/or other officials appointed by the President.
(3) Further provisions concerning the awarding of the Veterans Honours of the Republic of Indonesia as referred to in paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) are governed by the Government Regulation.

Section 9
(1) The Veterans Honor of the Republic of Indonesia can be given more than 1 (one) times.
(2) The Veterans ' Honor of the Republic of Indonesia as referred to in paragraph (1) is given to the Citizen who is actively responsible for the events of the other vetotherness.

Section 10
Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia who are credited in an exceptional event can be given the stars of honor and/or merit stars in accordance with the provisions of the laws.

Section 11
The Veterans ' Honor of the Republic of Indonesia as referred to in Article 6 does not apply to the Citizen who:
a.   assisting the enemy of the Republic of Indonesia ' s Unity State B.   unfaithful and betraying the state base of Pancasila;
c. sentenced to prison or confinement 6 (six) months or more based on a fixed legal ruling court ruling; and/or
D.   doing despicable deeds.

BAB IV
VETERAN RIGHTS OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA
Section 12
(1) Veterans of the Independence Fighters of the Republic of Indonesia and Veterans of Independence Defenders of the Republic of Indonesia deserve:
a.  Veteran Benefits;
B.  Honorary Fund;
c. cemeteries in the burial garden of the hero; and
D.  a certain rights of the country set with the Presidential Regulation.
(2) The Peace Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia deserve:
a.  burial in the burial garden of the hero; and
B.  a certain rights of the country set with the Presidential Regulation.
(3) The posthumous veteran of the Republic of Indonesia is entitled to a funeral in the hero ' s grave park.
(4) Veterans as referred to in paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) are entitled to the right of the protokoler.
(5) The provisions of Veteran and Honorary Funds as referred to in paragraph (1) the letters a and the letter b are governed by the Rules of the Government.
(6) The provisions regarding the funeral as referred to in paragraph (1) of the letter c are governed with the Presidential Regulation.

Section 13
(1) Widow, widower, or yatim-strait of Veterans Posthumous Independence Republic Indonesia, Veteran Posthumous Defender Of Independence Republic Indonesia, Veteran Independence Fighter Republic of Indonesia, and Veteran Defender of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia is given the allowance of a widow, widower, or an orphan.
(2) Widow, duda, or yatim-strait of Veterans Independence Republic Indonesia and Veteran Posthumous Defender Independence Republic Indonesia was given the Honorary Fund.
(3) Further provisions on widows ' allowance, duda, or yatim-strait and Honorary Funds as referred to in paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) are governed by the Government Regulation.

Section 14
(1) Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia who suffer from defects in the event of vehiness are granted santunan and disability benefits as well as body aids in accordance with the provisions of the laws.
(2) Veterans of the Independence Fighters of the Republic of Indonesia and Veterans of the Independence Defenders of the Republic of Indonesia who suffer from defects in the event of vehiness, in addition to being given Veterans ' Allowance and Honorary Fund, are also granted santunan and disability benefits.
(3) Further provisions of santunan and disability benefits as well as body aids, as referred to in paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) are governed by the Government Regulation.

Section 15
(1) Veteran Independence Fighters of the Republic of Indonesia who died and have a guerrilla star are entitled to be buried in the Main National Heroes Tomb Park.
(2) Veteran Indonesian Independence Fighters, Veteran Defender of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, and the Veterans of Peace of the Republic of Indonesia who died as well as the Posthumous Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia deserve to be buried in the hero's tomb park.
(3) Further provisions regarding the funeral of Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia as referred to in paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) are governed by the Presidential Regulation.

BAB V
VETERANS OBLIGATIONS OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA
Section 16
Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia compulsory:
a.  loyal to Pancasila and the Basic Law of the Republic of Indonesia Year 1945;
B.  holding state secrets and upholding the country ' s honour;
c. uphold the excellent name and the Veterans ' Honor Code of the Republic of Indonesia; and
D.  seeks to be an active element of society in carrying out the development programme for national resilience.

Section 17
Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia who violate the provisions as referred to in Article 16 may be revoked its vekeness in accordance with the provisions of the laws.

BAB VI
VETERAN LEGION OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA
Section 18
(1) Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia are incorporated into an organization of the Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia.
(2) The Legion of Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia is the only container and means of struggle for all Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia.
(3) Veteran of the Republic of Indonesia is automatically a member of the Veterans Legion of the Republic of Indonesia.
(4) The Basic Budget as well as the Household Budget of the Veterans Legion of the Republic of Indonesia is proposed by Congress and established with the Presidential Decree.

Section 19
The government provides encouragement and assistance to the Veterans ' Legion of the Republic of Indonesia to carry out its duties.

BAB VII
THE RUN
Section 20
Each person is prohibited from giving an untrue description of him or the other person resulting in the giving of the Veterans ' Honor of the Republic of Indonesia.

Section 21
Each person is prohibited from naming themselves as the Veteran of the Republic of Indonesia, while he is not entitled to the Veteran Republic of Indonesia, resulting in loss of another party.

BAB VIII
CRIMINAL PROVISIONS
Section 22
Any person who intentionally gives an untrue description of him or another person resulting in his offer of Honor of Veterans Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia as referred to in Article 20 is convicted of a prison criminal. the longest 4 (four) years and/or the most fines of the Rp180.000.000.00 (one hundred eighty million rupiah), as well as its keveterest revocation.

Section 23

BAB IX
TRANSITION PROVISIONS
Section 24
At the time of this Act, the submission of the National Republic of Indonesia Veterans ' Honor to proceed under the Law No. 7 of 1967 on Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia (State Sheet) Republic of Indonesia Year 1967 Number 17, Additional Gazette Republic of Indonesia Number 2826).

BAB X
CLOSING PROVISIONS
Section 25
By the time this Act came into force, all laws which are the regulation of the Act of Number 7 of 1967 on Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia (Indonesian Republic of 1967 Number 17, Supplement) The Republic of Indonesia State Sheet Number 2826) is declared to remain in effect as long as neither contradictory nor unreimbursed under this Act.

Section 26
At the time of this Act, Law Number 7 of 1967 on Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia (Indonesian Republic of Indonesia Year 1967 Number 17, Additional Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia No. 2826) was revoked and declared no applies.

Section 27
This Act goes into effect on the promulgable date.
