THE LIMITS OF RIAU PROVINCE AREA WITH JAMBI PROVINCE

WITH THE GRACE OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD

THE INTERIOR MINISTER OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

Weigh: a.   that in order to order the administration of the provinces of Riau and Jambi Province, it needs to be set to the exact boundary of the area between Riau Province and Jambi Province;
B.  that the definition of the boundary of the area between Riau Province with Jambi Province as referred to in the letter a has been agreed by the Government of Riau Province and the Government of Jambi Province and approved by the Central Level Area Border Enforcement Team;
c. that under consideration as referred to in the letter a and the letter b, need to establish the Regulation of the Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Indonesia on the Regional Boundary of Riau Province with Jambi Province;

Given: 1.  Act Number 12 of 1956 on the Establishment of the Regency Autonomous Region in the Environment of Central Sumatra Province (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Year 1956 Number 25) as amended the last few times with the Invite – Invite Number 7 of 1965 on the Establishment of Level II Sarolangun Bangko and Level II Tanjung Jabung by Changing Invite – Invite Number 12 Year 1956 on the Establishment of the Autonomous Region of the Regency In the Environment of Central Sumatra Province (sheet State of the Republic of Indonesia in 1965 Number 50, Additional Gazette) Republic of Indonesia Number 2755);
2. Emergency Law Number 19 of 1957 on the Establishment of the Level Regions I of West Sumatra, Jambi and Riau (State Sheet of the Republic of Indonesia 1957 Number 75), as amended by Invite – Invite Number 61 Year 1968 about the Penetration of the Invite – Emergency Invite Number 19 of 1957 on the Establishment of the States of West Sumatra, Jambi and Riau (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia in 1958 No. 1646);

Sets: REGULATIONS OF THE INTERIOR MINISTER ABOUT THE LIMITS OF RIAU PROVINCE AREA WITH JAMBI PROVINCE.
BAB I
UMUM CONDITIONS
Section 1
In this Minister ' s Rule, which is referred to:
1. Riau province is an autonomous area as referred to in the Emergency Law Number 19 of 1957 on the Establishment of the Level Regions of Ieast Sumatra, Jambi and Riau.
2. Jambi Province is an autonomous region as referred to in the Emergency Law Number 19 of 1957 on the Establishment of the States of West Sumatra, Jambi and Riau Islands.
3. Upper Indragiri County is an autonomous region as referred to in the Law Number 6 of 1965 on the Establishment of the Lower Inderagiri Region by Changing Law Number 12 of 1956 on the Establishment of the Autonomous Region County In The Neighborhood Of Central Sumatra Propinsion;
4. Lower Indragiri regency is an autonomous region as referred to in the Law Number 6 of 1965 on the Establishment of the Lower Inderagiri Region by Changing Law Number 12 of 1956 on the Establishment of the Autonomous Region County In The Neighborhood Of Central Sumatra Propinsion.
5. Kuantan Singingi is an autonomous region as referred to in Act No. 53 of 1999 on the Establishment of the Pelaopponent Regency, Rokan Hulu Regency, Lower Rokan Regency, Siak Regency, Karimun Regency, Natuna County, Kuantan Singingi County, and Batam City.
6. Tebo County is an autonomous area as referred to in Law No. 54 of 1999 on the Establishment of Sorolangun County, Tebo County, Muaro Jambi Regency, and East Jabung Tanjung Regency.
7. Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency is an autonomous region as referred to in Invite – Invite Number 54 Year 1999 on the Establishment of Sarolangun County, Tebo County, Muaro Jambi Regency, and Tanjung Jabung East Regency.
8. The next Main Boundary pillar (PBU) is a pillar installed as a boundary sign between the Province/District/City that is placed right at the boundary line between the Provincial/Kabupaten/City area.
9. Pillars of Primary Boundary Boundary (PABU) are the pillars that are installed as boundary signs between the Province/Kabupaten/ The city laid down on the natural or artificial boundary which serves as the boundary line of the border between the regions Province/Kabupaten/ City.

RIAU PROVINCE AREA LIMIT
WITH JAMBI PROVINCE
Section 2
The boundary of the Riau Province area with Jambi Province is the regional boundary between:
1. Lower Indragiri regency with Western Cape Jabung County;
2. Lower Indragiri regency with Tebo County;
3. Hulu Indragiri regency with Tebo County; and
4. Kuantan Singingi County with Tebo County.
