§ 1. The Greenlandic flags design determined by Royal. Resolution on the recommendation of the Greenland Parliament.
Subsection. 2. Do not use characteristics of the flag.
Subsection. 3. It is prohibited to offer for sale, sell or rent flag that does not have the right color and size.

§ 2. The Cabinet authorized to set flag day.

§ 3. No person shall taunt flag, either in word or deed.
Subsection. 2. The flag should not be used as a brand for individuals, associations, companies or institutions or characteristics of the access marks or by other similar means.
Subsection. 3. The flag may not be the trademarks or used for advertising purposes in any other way, as far as marketing and sales of more than Greenlandic products.

§ 4. Ships registered based in Greenland, should use the flag of Greenland.
Subsection. 2. Such ships may not lead other than the flag of Greenland unless the Greenlandic flags fly from the place by law or by international custom is nationalflagets space.
Subsection. 3. Paragraph. 1 and 2 shall not apply Reich authorities ships.

§ 5. For violation of the this Act provisions may be fined, which accrue to the Treasury.

§ 6. This Act comes into force on 21 June 1985.
Subsection. 2. However, the provisions of § 4 on ship flag transfer into force on 1 January 1986.
