Scope


§ 1. The Cabinet may grant restoration support for commercial fishermen, professional hunters and practitioners of commercial farming for business-related losses caused by property damage, loss of business-related equipment or illness or other physical condition incapacity.
Subsection. 2. The Cabinet may also in special cases grant restoration support to in paragraph. 1 mentioned persons for losses caused by climatic difficulties, general economic obstacles or the like.




Special conditions


§ 2. Payment of resettlement support may be conditional upon the injury, loss, sickness or incapacity is not already covered, or possible to cover, private or public insurance or private or public support or the like.




Application for restoration support


§ 3. Application for restoring aid shall be submitted to the Government of Greenland.
Subsection. 2. An application under subsection. 1 must be submitted in one of Greenland government prepared application form.
Subsection. 3. An application under paragraph. 1 must be accompanied by proof of the applicant's financial situation and documentation of business-related property damage, loss, illness or other physical condition incapacity.
Subsection. 4. Re-establishment support is paid as far as possible, after consulting the relevant interest group. In the in § 1. 2 and § 4, paragraph. 2, the second case, the relevant interest group heard.




Payment of resettlement support


§ 4. Re-establishment support is paid as a lump sum benefit of at least kr. 2,000 and no more than kr. 25,000.
Subsection. 2. The Cabinet may in certain cases pay a larger amount than in the paragraph. 1 above.
Subsection. 3. The Cabinet may make the payment of reestablishment support of the applicant subsequently transmit explanation of how aid is used.




Repayment of restoration support


§ 5. The Cabinet may decide on reimbursement of recovery support if:
1) A person who has received the re-establishment support is subsequently paid compensation, support or otherwise obtains coverage that covers the same objective as the according to this Act granted.
2) A person unduly benefited by this Act.
Subsection. 2. A person who has received the re-establishment support, has a duty to inform the Greenland government about changes in his situation which may cause the Greenland government, see. Paragraph. 1, can decide on the repayment of the re-establishment support.




Relationship with other legislation


§ 6. This Rule Act on restoring aid to commercial fishermen, professional hunters and practitioners of commercial farming are not a substitute for other legislation on public assistance or support.




Holding Act spending


§ 7. Expenditure under this Act shall be borne by the Treasury. The budget allocated to the county law stipulated in the annual Finance Acts.




Effective


§ 8. Landsting Act shall come into force on 1 July 2004.
Subsection. 2. Landsting Act may apply to eligible incidents occurring on or after 1 July 2004.
