§ 1 State recognition of the vocational training profession

The training profession Media technologists screen printing and media technology screen printing will be

pursuant to Article 4 (1) of the Vocational Training Act and
2.
In accordance with § 25 of the Craft Regulations for the Training for Industry Number 41 "Screen Printers" of Appendix B 1 of the Craft Regulations

§ 2 Duration of vocational training

§ 3 Structure of vocational training

Vocational training is divided into
1.
Compulsory qualifications in accordance with Article 4 (2) (A) and (C),
2.
Two optional qualifications to be defined in the training contract in accordance with Article 4 (2) (B) (1) and
3.
an optional qualification to be defined in the training contract in accordance with Section 4 (2) (B) (2).

§ 4 Training framework plan, vocational training programme

(1) The subject-matter of vocational training shall be at least the skills, knowledge and skills listed in the training framework plan (Appendix) (professional capacity for action). An organization of the training, which deviates from the training framework plan, is in particular permissible, insofar as special operational characteristics require the deviation. § 5 Implementation of vocational training

(1) The skills, knowledge and skills referred to in this Regulation shall be taught in such a way as to enable trainees to carry out a qualified professional activity within the meaning of Article 1 (3) of the Vocational Training Act. , which includes, in particular, independent planning, implementation and control. The qualifications described in the first sentence must also be proven in the exams according to § § 6 and 7. (2) The trainees have to draw up a training plan on the basis of the training framework plan for the trainees. (3) The trainees have a written proof of education. They should be given the opportunity to carry out the written evidence of formal qualifications during the training period. § 6 Interim examination

(1) An intermediate examination shall be carried out in order to determine the level of training. It is to take place before the end of the second year of training. (2) The intermediate examination shall cover the skills, knowledge and skills listed in the Annex for the first three years of training, as well as the skills listed in the Annex. The intermediate examination takes place in the examination areas. (3) The intermediate examination is to be found in the examination areas.

(4) For the examination area work planning, the following guidelines exist:
1.
The test specimen shall demonstrate that it is capable of:
a)
to plan work steps, to define work equipment, to select materials, to take into account requirements of work, health and environmental protection, as well as cost-effectiveness,
b)
Create and test print data and printing forms as well as implement given product and process data in the planning process,
c)
Planning the process of control and control of printing presses, taking into account the interactions of materials, printing inks, printing materials and printing presses in the printing process,
d)
carrying out screen-printing-specific calculations;

the examinee is to process practical tasks in writing;
3.
the exam time is 120 minutes.
(5) The following guidelines exist for the examination area screen printing technology:
1.
The test specimen shall demonstrate that it is capable of:
a)
to take over data in the screen-prepress, to create and process production data, to manufacture and test screen printing forms,
b)
To set up printing presses in order to match the printing result, taking into account printing inks, printing materials and machine settings, and to start the printing process,
c)
Carry out print process checks during the printing process, measure parameters, check and document results, and optimize the printing process and print result;
2.
the test piece is to produce a test piece and document his work with practical documents;
3.
the examination time is five hours.

§ 7 Final examination, journeyman's examination

(1) The conclusion or journeyman's examination shall determine whether the examinee has acquired the professional capacity to act. In the final examination and the journeyman's examination, the examinee is to prove that he has mastered the professional skills required for this, possessing the necessary professional knowledge and skills, and with that in the vocational education and training courses. To plan work steps as an integrated production process, including information on upstream and downstream production areas,
c)
Structuring, evaluating and documenting order data,
d)
To take into account the properties of materials, printing inks and printing materials and their interactions with each other and with the printing machines used,
e)
carry out planning-relevant calculations;

the examinee is to process practical tasks in writing;
3.
the exam time is 120 minutes.
(6) The following guidelines exist for the examination area Process technology:
1.
The test specimen shall demonstrate that it is capable of:
a)
to distinguish between printing processes with regard to their fields of application and to assign them to main product groups,
b)
Process-specific parameters as well as production conditions in relation to printing machines, materials, printing materials, printing inks including color mixing systems as well as drying, operating conditions and production specifications to be taken into account and to use,
c)
to apply quality assurance measures for the optimization of print results; to use process-related measuring and control elements,
d)
to use the production potential resulting from the techniques used,
e)
to take account of the requirements of print processing,
f)
Evaluate the functions of machine elements as well as the maintenance of machinery and equipment,
g)
to perform process-related calculations;
2.
the examinee is to process practical tasks in writing;
3.
the exam time is 120 minutes.
(7) The following guidelines exist for the examination area of economic and social studies:
1.
The purpose of the test is to demonstrate that it is capable of presenting and assessing the general economic and social context of the working and working world;
2.
the examinee is to process practical tasks in writing;
3.
the exam time is 60 minutes.

§ 8 Rules on weightings and regulations

(1) The individual examination areas shall be weighted as follows:

1. Examination area screen printing production 50 percent,
2. Examination Area Order Planning
and communication
20 percent,
3. Process Technology Review Area 20 percent,
4. Examination area Economic and
Social Studies
10 percent.
(2) The final examination or journeyman's examination has been passed if the services
1.
in the overall result, at least "sufficient",
2.
screen printing production with at least "sufficient" in the examination area,
3.
in at least two further examination areas with at least "sufficient" and
4.
in no examination area with "insufficient"
(3) At the request of the examinee, the examination in one of the examination areas "Order Planning and Communication" or "Process Technology" or "Economic and Social Studies", which have been assessed as "sufficiently" as "sufficient", is to be assessed by an oral examination. An examination of about 15 minutes should be completed if this can be the case for the passing of the test. In determining the result for this examination area, the previous result and the result of the oral supplementary examination in the ratio of 2: 1 are to be weighted. Unofficial table of contents

§ 9 Additional Qualification

(1) The optional qualification for the qualification of tampon printing or large-format digital printing, which is not selected in the course of vocational training, can be provided as an additional qualification in accordance with § 4 (2) Section B (1). Section 10 Examination of the additional qualification

(1) The additional qualification shall be examined separately in the course of the examination or journeyman's examination if the skills, knowledge and skills contained in Section B (1) of Annex B have been appropriately communicated. (2) Additional qualification consists of the following requirements:
1.
The test specimen is intended to demonstrate for the additional qualification pad printing that it can produce multi-coloured tampon printed products with the inclusion of prepress and mould production;
2.
the examinee is to demonstrate for the additional qualification of large-format digital printing that it can produce multi-coloured large-format digital print products with the inclusion of data processing;
3.
for the selected additional qualification:
a)
the test piece is to produce a test piece,
b)
the examination time is four hours.
(3) The examination of the respective additional qualification has been passed if the examinee has provided at least sufficient services. (4) A separate certificate must be issued on the result of the passed examination of the additional qualification. Unofficial table of contents

§ 11 Existing Vocational Training Conditions

Vocational training conditions which exist at the date of entry into force of this Regulation may, if no intermediate examination has yet been filed and the Contracting Parties agree to do so, by taking into account the period of training completed so far, according to the the provisions of this Regulation shall be continued. § 12 Entry into force, external force

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 August 2011. At the same time, the regulation on vocational training for screen printer/screen printer will take place on 2 May 2000 (BGBl. 679). Unofficial table of contents
