§ 1 Eligibility Requirements

A remuneration for on-call duty and call-readiness shall be paid to medical officers with remuneration in accordance with the Bundesbesoldung ordnung A,
1.
for the same regular weekly working time, as for federal officials,
2.
whose working time is automatically recorded and
3.
in Bundeswehr hospitals, who are on standby duty outside the regular working hours or stand-by, if the periods of time provided for compelling service reasons do not take place within one year by exemption from the service can be balanced.

§ 2 On-call duty

(1) The periods of on-call time paid during a calendar month shall be taken into account in accordance with the average actual use of the medical officers during the on-call service as follows:

The actual use during the on-call time shall be paid out. (2) The medical officers shall be assigned one of the stages referred to in the first sentence of paragraph 1. The assignment is based on the average actual use of all medical officers in a department or section during all on-call time. The calculation shall be based on three consecutive calendar months. No account shall be taken of periods of activity for which fees can be charged according to the fees regulations for doctors or the fees regulations for dentists. § 3 Call Preparedness

(1) Time of call-up without actual use exceeding 10 hours in the calendar month shall be taken into account for an eighth. In the case of part-time employment, the 10 hours are reduced in the same proportion as the working time. (2) Times of actual use during a call-up are fully taken into account. The fourth sentence of Article 2 (2) shall apply accordingly. Unofficial table of contents

§ 4 Total Time

The periods of a calendar month taken into account should be added and then rounded to full hours (total time). For a fraction of at least 30 minutes, rounded up; otherwise, rounded. Unofficial table of contents

§ 5 Compensation for full-time employment

Full-time employees receive per hour of total time
1.
Grade A 13 14,00 Euro,
2.
Grade A 14 19.00 Euro,
3.
Grades A 15 and A 16 24,00 Euro.

§ 6 Compensation for part-time employment

(1) Part-time employees receive, per hour of the total period up to the achievement of the regular working time of full-time employees, a remuneration equal to the percentage of the remuneration of full-time employees corresponding to 1 hour. (2) The monthly salary of the corresponding full-time employees is to be divided by the 4,348 -fold of their regular weekly working time. Remuneration which is not subject to the pro-rata reduction in accordance with Section 6 (1) of the Bundesbesoldungsgesetz (Bundesbesoldungsgesetz) shall not be taken into account. (3) Times which exceed the regular working time of full-time employees shall be remunerated in accordance with § 5. Unofficial table of contents

§ 7 Exclusion of entitlement to remuneration

Remuneration is not granted
1.
for periods of on-call time taken into account in accordance with § 2, and periods of actual use during the call-up period, if the sum of these periods, rounded off in accordance with § 4, does not exceed 5 hours in the calendar month; Part-time employment will be reduced to 5 hours in the same ratio as working time,
2.
with determination of the voltage or defence case or in accordance with a decision pursuant to Article 80a (3), first sentence, of the Basic Law, or
3.
for services to increase the readiness of the armed forces, which the Federal Ministry of Defence is ordering, in order to establish the necessary responsiveness of the armed forces to carry out their tasks.
