With the approval of the Federal Council, the Bundestag has adopted the following law: Unofficial table of contents

Species 1

The following Convention, signed in Vienna on 26 September 1986 by the Federal Republic of Germany, is approved:
1.
the Convention on the early notification of nuclear accidents,
2.
the Convention on Assistance in the event of nuclear accidents or radiological emergencies.

Type 2

To the extent that the Federal Republic of Germany, as an invent State, pursuant to Article 10 (2) of the IAEA Convention of 26 September 1986 on assistance in the event of nuclear accidents or radiological emergencies, the aid party or the party to which it is responsible of natural persons or other entities, their claims shall be subject to the conditions laid down in Articles 3, 4 and 6 of the Paris Convention of 29 July 1960 on Third Party Liability in the Field of Nuclear Energy and the Additional Protocol of 28 July 1960. January 1964 in the version of the Notice of 15 July 1985 (BGBl. 963) shall be directed against the holder of the nuclear facility or against the person who is liable for any other activity referred to in Article 1 (2) of the IAEA Convention on early notification of nuclear accidents. Art 3

This law shall also apply in the Land of Berlin, provided that the Land Berlin determines the application of this law. Unofficial table of contents

Species 4

(1) This Act shall enter into force on the day following its announcement. (2) The day on which the IAEA notification convention pursuant to its Article 12 (4) and the IAEA Assistance Convention pursuant to its Article 14 (4) for the Federal Republic of Germany Germany will enter into force, is to be announced in the Federal Law Gazan.
