Species 1

The Treaty between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Czech Republic, signed in Prague on 2 February 2000, supplementing the European Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters of 20 April 1959, and the facilitation of Its application will be approved. Type 2

The police authorities shall be empowered to submit a request within the meaning of Article 23 of the Treaty only to the extent that they may, under their national law, take orders within their own jurisdiction. Unofficial table of contents

Art 3

Requests for legal assistance by the Czech authorities, which are based on an infringement which, under German law, would be a breach of the law, are treated as if, under German law, they are based on an act which is punishable by punishment. The approval authority may delegate to the managing authority responsible for the prosecution of the infringement the acceptance of the legal assistance. Unofficial table of contents

Species 4

(1) This Act shall enter into force, with the exception of Articles 2 and 3, on the day following its announcement. Articles 2 and 3 of the Treaty shall enter into force at the same time as the Treaty. (2) The date on which the Treaty enters into force for the Federal Republic of Germany pursuant to Article 34 (2) shall be disclosed in the Bundesgesetzblatt (Federal Law Gazans).
