The Treaty between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Swiss Confederation signed in Bonn on 13 November 1969 on the supplementation of the European Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters of 20 April 1959 and the Facilitation of its application will be agreed. Art 3

Requests for legal assistance from Swiss authorities, which are based on an infringement which, under German law, would be an offence, shall be treated as if, under German law, they are based on an act which is punishable by punishment. Art 8

(1) This Act shall enter into force, with the exception of Articles 2 to 6, on the day after its announcement. Articles 2 to 6 shall enter into force in conjunction with the Treaty. (2) The date on which the Treaty enters into force in accordance with its Article XVI (2) shall be disclosed in the Federal Law Gazly.
