Species 1

(1) The representatives of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and their alternates shall be elected by the German Bundestag each for the duration of its parliamentary term from its centre. (2) After the end of the parliamentary term (3) The term of office of the newly elected representatives and alternates shall begin with the confirmation of the credentials by the Parliamentary Assembly. Type 2

The German Bundestag shall determine the procedure of the election as well as the succession in the event of the failure of a representative or deputy as a result of death or for other reasons. Unofficial table of contents

Art 3

This law shall also apply in the Land of Berlin in accordance with the provisions of Section 13 (1) of the Third Transfer Act. Unofficial table of contents

(1) This Act shall enter into force on the day following the date of delivery. (2)
