In application of Article 40 of the Constitution of the The German Democratic Republic becomes the all-round realization of the law of 25. February 1965 on the unified socialist education system (GBl. 83) in the bilingual area of the districts of Cottbus and Dresden pursuant to Section 79 (2) for the implementation of § 31 of this Act in agreement with the Minister of Higher Education and Training, the Head of the State Office of Vocational Training and the heads of the other relevant central government bodies shall: unofficial table of contents

§ 2 Kindergartens
(1) In kindergartens in the bilingual area, starting from the mother-language requirements of the Children, the German or to apply the Sorbian language in educational and educational work and to promote the mother tongue language development of the children.(2) In kindergartens in the bilingual area, if the necessary conditions-children's language skills and sufficient number of children-are given to form groups for children with a sorbian mother tongue.
