§ 1 Outline and content of the Master Examination

The master test in the electrical machinery manufacturer's craft comprises the following independent test parts:
1.
the examination of the masterly direction of the usual works (Part I),
2.
the examination of the necessary theoretical knowledge (Part II),
3.
the examination of the necessary business, commercial and legal knowledge (Part III) and
4.
the examination of the necessary vocational and occupational pedagogical knowledge (Part IV).

§ 2 Master examination profession

(1) The master's examination in the electrical machinery manufacturer's craft states that the test specimen is capable of carrying out a craft enterprise on its own, management tasks in the fields of technology, business administration, personnel management and -to carry out the training, to carry out the training and to implement his professional competence independently and to adapt it to new requirements in these areas. (2) The electrical machinery manufacturer's craft will be tested for the purposes of the master test the following activities, knowledge and skills as a holistic Qualifications attributed to:
1.
Determine customer requirements, advise customers, calculate services and create offers, conduct contract negotiations and set order targets,
2.
Perform tasks of technical and commercial management, company organisation, personnel planning and personnel deployment, in particular taking into account in-company training and further training, quality management, liability and occupational safety, safety, data protection and environmental protection; use information systems,
3.
Carry out orders taking into account manufacturing techniques, maintenance alternatives, professional laws, standards, rules and regulations, staffing requirements and training; organize order processing and order processing, plan and monitor,
4.
development of equipment for drive technology, measurement, control and control technology as well as the control, distribution, welding and process engineering, taking into account safety and health-relevant precautionary measures, plan, manufacture, program and build,
5.
Control the functioning of energy consumption devices and electrical and electronic equipment, assemblies and their power supply devices; take into account and apply techniques for the rational use of energy;
6.
Control digital, data and network technology, analyze interfaces,
7.
Take into account the material properties in planning, design and design,
8.
calculate, assemble, repair, test, operate and maintain rotating and dormant electrical machines and devices; use and maintain measuring and testing tools;
9.
Create documentation, in particular winding representations and circuit diagrams, also using computer-based systems,
10.
Function of mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics, taking into account physical laws,
11.
Design contracts; develop and maintain standard contracts, in particular service contracts,
12.
Perform fault and fault search, control measures to eliminate errors and malfunctions, evaluate results and document results,
13.
Take and log services, submit to the customer, settle down and carry out post-calculation.

§ 3 Outline, duration and existence of Part I

(1) Part I of the Master Examination comprises as examination area a master examination project and an expert discussion related to it. (2) The preparation of the master test project should not exceed five working days, the expert discussion no longer. as 30 minutes. (3) The Master examination project and the expert discussion will be evaluated separately. The examination achievements in the Master Examination Project and in the expert discussion are weighted in the ratio 3: 1. (4) A minimum requirement for the existence of Part I of the Master examination is a sufficient overall examination performance, with the examination neither in the master examination project nor in the expert discussion with less than 30 points may have been assessed. § 4 Master examination project

(1) The test specimen shall carry out a master inspection project which corresponds to a customer order. The specific task is to be carried out by the Master Examination Committee. The proposals of the test item are to be taken into consideration. Before conducting the Master's examination project, the examinee must submit the draft, including a scheduling, to the Master Examination Committee for approval. (2) The following task must be carried out as a master inspection project:
Make or repair an installation or a part of the drive technology, taking into account the measuring, control and control technology. (3) The master inspection project referred to in paragraph 2 consists of:
1.
Draft, calculation, planning and calculation documents,
2.
the manufacture or repair of the installation or the part of the installation,
3.
Audit log.
The design, calculation, planning and calculation documents are weighted at 30 of the hundred, the production or repair of the installation or the part with 50 of the hundred and the test protocol with 20 of the hundred. Unofficial table of contents

§ 5 Technical Discussion

On the basis of the examination achievements in the Master Examination project, a specialist discussion will be conducted. § 6 Outline, duration and existence of Part II

(1) The examination in Part II is intended to demonstrate to the examinee, by linking technological, safety, flow and process engineering, material technical, mathematical and economic knowledge, that he will analyse problems. and to evaluate and document appropriate solutions. (2) Examination subjects are:
1.
Drive and safety technology,
2.
order processing,
3.
Management and operational organisation.
(3) In each of the examination subjects, at least one task must be processed, which must be case-oriented.
1.
Drive and safety technology testing is to prove that it is able to perform tasks and problems of drive technology in accordance with technical, safety, economic and ecological aspects in a Electrical machine-building operation. It is intended to assess and describe technical issues. Several of the following qualifications are to be associated with the task:
a)
Analyze customer requirements
b)
Describe and evaluate the structure, mode of operation and function of systems of drive technology, in particular measuring, control and control technology,
c)
describe and evaluate methods of diagnosis, maintenance, repair and measurement technology,
d)
assess technical data and associate it with the use of the data
e)
Assess the types, properties and processing of materials and material compounds and assign them to their uses,
f)
Draw up, assess and correct technical solutions, in particular taking into account safety and health-related precautionary measures;
2.
Order fulfillment The test item is to prove that it is able to handle the execution-related measures necessary for the technical and economic success of an electrical machinery construction company in order processing, customer-oriented to initiate and complete. Several of the following qualifications are to be associated with the task:
a)
Evaluate application documents and plan order processing processes,
b)
evaluate the methods and procedures of the planning and organisation of work, taking into account the production and repair methods and the use of equipment, equipment and personnel, in the process of quality assurance,
c)
Develop, evaluate and correct technical work plans, in particular sketches, technical drawings, winding representations and circuit diagrams, including the use of electronic data processing systems,
d)
Carry out and evaluate the analysis of approval requirements,
e)
Subcontracting and controlling subcontracting,
f)
Record and evaluate data as well as document test results
g)
Carry out pre-and post-calculation;
3.
Management and operational organisation The test facility is to demonstrate that it is able to carry out the tasks of the company's management and operational organisation in an electrical machine construction company. Several of the following qualifications are to be associated with the task:
a)
Summarize work items on offer packages and calculate prices,
b)
Calculate hourly rates on the basis of a given cost structure,
c)
Identify and use operational indicators on the basis of specified schemes,
d)
plan the development of the business field on the basis of the technical development and the market,
e)
Design and implement human resources development and management concepts,
f)
plan and present operational quality management,
g)
Instruct and train employees in terms of tasks
h)
Develop marketing measures for customer care and the acquisition of new customers,
i)
describe and assess information and communication systems in relation to their operational uses;
k)
apply professional laws, standards, rules and regulations,
l)
assess the liability in the manufacture, maintenance and service of services,
m)
-the requirements of occupational safety, health protection, data protection and environmental protection; assess hazards and define security measures;
n)
Plan and represent operations, warehousing and construction site equipment as well as logistics.
(4) The examination in Part II shall be carried out in writing. It should last no longer than nine hours. An examination period of six hours per day shall not be exceeded. (5) If at most two of the examination subjects referred to in paragraph 2 have been reached at least 30 and less than 50 points, one of these subjects shall be entitled to: (6) A minimum requirement for the existence of Part II of the Master Examination is a sufficient overall examination performance. The Master Examination Committee shall issue a certificate to the examinee on the basis of the outcome of the examination in the examination subject referred to in point 1 of the second paragraph of paragraph 2, after the examination has been made. The examination of Part II has not been passed if:
1.
an examination subject has been evaluated with less than 30 points, or
2.
after the additional examination has been carried out, two examination subjects have each been evaluated with fewer than 50 points.

§ 7 General examination and procedural regulations, further regulations for the Master Examination

(1) The provisions of the Master Examination Procedure Ordinance of 17 December 2001 (BGBl. 2) The examination in parts III and IV of the Master Examination is determined by the General Master Examination Regulation of 26 October 2009. § 8 Transitional provision

The provisions of § 6 (5) and (6) shall not apply to the examination procedures that have been initiated until 31 December 2011. These will be brought to an end in accordance with the previous regulations. Unofficial table of contents

§ 9 Entry into force, external force

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January October 2002, in force.
