Species 1

The Protocol, signed in Brussels on 29 November 1996 by the Federal Republic of Germany, on the basis of Article K.3 of the Treaty on European Union, on the interpretation of the Convention on the protection of the financial interests of the European Union European Communities shall be approved by the Court of Justice of the European Communities by way of a preliminary ruling and by the statements made for this purpose. Type 2

(1) Any court may refer a question to the Court of Justice of the European Communities for a preliminary ruling which it finds itself in a pending procedure, and which relates to the interpretation of the Convention on the protection of financial The interests of the European Communities, of the first Protocol of 27 September 1996 or of the Second Protocol of 19 June 1997 relating to this Convention, when a decision is taken to adopt it necessary (2) A court whose decisions no longer have the right to appeal , the Court of Justice of the European Communities shall, for a preliminary ruling, submit questions in accordance with paragraph 1 to the Court of Justice of the European Communities for a preliminary ruling if it considers that a decision is required to adopt its decision. Art 3

This Act shall enter into force, with the exception of Article 2, on the date of its announcement. Article 2 shall enter into force on the date on which the Protocol enters into force for the Federal Republic of Germany in accordance with its Article 4 (3). The date of entry into force shall be announced in the Federal Law Gazans.
