Art 11 Power declaration of Reichsmark-Securities

(1) bearer documents issued by Reichsmark or its predecessor currencies, issued by persons having their head office in the accession territory before 8 May 1945 and not covered by the resettlement of securities, shall be declared powerless. (2) Innehabit the rights embodied at the time by these securities must be proved in their use on a case-by-case basis. (3) Claims for the issuance of securities issued by the former Office for the Legal Protection of the Assets of the German Democratic Republic The Republic of the Republic of Germany may, within six months of entry into force, this law (exclusion period) at the Federal Office for Central Services and Open Property Issues is asserted. Securities whose publication has not been requested or which has been successfully rejected may be destroyed or sold. Non-powerlessness is to be identified by customary bankrupting prior to publication or divestment. Proceeds from the sales are to be deducted from the compensation fund. Unofficial table of contents

Art 12 New Notice

The Federal Ministry of Justice can make known the text of the Property Law, the Federal Ministry of Finance the text of the Code of Value Comparison in the version in force of the entry into force of this Act in the Federal Law Gazans. Unofficial table of contents

Type 13 Entry into force

Article 9 shall enter into force with effect from 1 January 1994. Article 10 (10) and Article 12 shall enter into force on the day after the announcement. In addition, this Act shall enter into force on the first day of the third calendar month following the announcement.
