§ 1 State recognition of the vocational training profession

The training profession of the media technologists Printing Processing and the Media Technology Printing Processing is recognized by the state in accordance with § 4 paragraph 1 of the Vocational Training Act. Unofficial table of contents

§ 2 Duration of vocational training

§ 3 Structure of vocational training

Vocational training is divided into
1.
Compulsory qualifications in accordance with Article 4 (2) (A) and (C),
2.
Two optional qualifications to be defined in the training contract in accordance with Article 4 (2) (B) (1) and
3.
an optional qualification to be defined in the training contract in accordance with Section 4 (2) (B) (2).

§ 4 Training framework plan, vocational training programme

(1) The subject-matter of vocational training shall be at least the skills, knowledge and skills listed in the training framework plan (Appendix) (professional capacity for action). An organization of the training, which deviates from the training framework plan, is allowed in particular, insofar as special operational characteristics require the deviation. (2) The vocational training for media technologists printing processing and the Media technology in print processing is broken down as follows (training professional image):

§ 5 Implementation of vocational training

(1) The skills, knowledge and skills referred to in this Regulation shall be taught in such a way as to enable trainees to carry out a qualified professional activity within the meaning of Article 1 (3) of the Vocational Training Act. , which includes, in particular, independent planning, implementation and control. The qualifications described in the first sentence are to be proved in the exams according to § § 6 and 7. (2) The trainees have to draw up a training plan on the basis of the training framework plan for the trainees. (3) The trainees have to provide written evidence of formal qualifications. They should be given the opportunity to carry out the written evidence of formal qualifications during the training period. § 6 Interim examination

(1) An intermediate examination shall be carried out in order to determine the level of training. It is to take place before the end of the second year of training. (2) The intermediate examination shall cover the skills, knowledge and skills listed in the Annex for the first three years of training, as well as the skills listed in the Annex. The intermediate examination takes place in the examination areas. (3) The intermediate examination is to be found in the examination areas.

(4) For the examination area work planning, the following guidelines exist:
1.
The test specimen shall demonstrate that it is capable of:
a)
to plan work steps, to define work equipment, to select materials, to take into account requirements of work, health and environmental protection, as well as cost-effectiveness,
b)
Take over and check order data, implement product and process data in the planning process,
c)
To plan in-process and control processes on processing machines, taking into account interactions of precursors, materials and machines in the processing process,
d)
carrying out processing-specific calculations;
2.
the examinee is to process practical tasks in writing;
3.
the exam time is 120 minutes.
(5) The following guidelines exist for the examination area processing technology:
1.
The test specimen shall demonstrate that it is capable of:
a)
To set processing units according to order data and specifications,
b)
Carry out process controls and measurement and testing procedures and use their results to optimize the processing and processing results,
c)
to produce sample products manually and mechanically,
d)
to document his work with practical documents;
2.
the test specimen is to carry out a work task, in doing so he should set up two processing units according to specifications and document his work;
3.
the examination time is four hours.

§ 7 Final examination

(1) The final examination shall determine whether the examinee has acquired the professional capacity to act. In the final examination, the auditor is to prove that he has the necessary professional skills, possess the necessary professional knowledge and skills, and that he/she is required to teach in the course of the vocational education and training course, for which the examination is carried out. (2) The final examination shall cover the skills, knowledge and skills listed in the Annex, as well as the teaching material to be provided in the course of vocational education, to the extent that he/she is responsible for the Vocational training is essential. (4) The following guidelines exist for the print processing examination area:
1.
The test specimen shall demonstrate that it is capable of:
a)
schedule process flows,
b)
to adjust processing plants with regard to their basic settings and to take into account machine-related relationships in function tests,
c)
to procure the specifications and materials required for the work order to set up processing plants and to equip processing plants,
d)
to start and control production, to test, assess and optimise the production result,
e)
to manufacture products in accordance with the specified quality on time, economically and in accordance with the requirements of occupational health and environmental protection,
f)
to initiate measures to remedy the situation;
g)
Communicate and document process data and the resulting changes in production conditions as well as machine-technical deviations in the production process;
2.
the examination area shall be based on the following activities: manufacture of a product on an integrated processing plant or with several individual machines in accordance with the optional qualification laid down in the training contract in accordance with Article 4 (2) Section B, point 2, taking into account one of the optional qualifications laid down in the training contract in accordance with Article 4 (2) (B) (1) of the Treaty;
3.
the examinee is to carry out a work assignment as well as a situational expert discussion and document his work with practical documents;
4.
the examination time is seven hours, within this time the situational dialogue should last for a maximum of ten minutes.
(5) The following guidelines exist for the examination area for order planning and communication:
1.
The test specimen shall demonstrate that it is capable of:
a)
Planning, implementing and documenting work processes in accordance with economic, technical, organisational and personal requirements in a customer-oriented way,
b)
to plan work steps, including information on upstream and downstream production areas,
c)
to evaluate and document machine data,
d)
to take into account the properties of precursors and materials and their interactions with each other and with the machinery and equipment used;
e)
carry out planning-relevant calculations;
2.
the examinee is to process practical tasks in writing;
3.
the exam time is 120 minutes.
(6) The following guidelines exist for the examination area Process technology:
1.
The test specimen shall demonstrate that it is capable of:
a)
to distinguish processing processes with regard to their fields of application and to assign them to main product groups,
b)
assess and use processing-specific parameters and production conditions in relation to processing plants, pre-products, materials, operating conditions and production specifications,
c)
to use quality assurance measures for the optimization of the processing result as well as to use process-related measuring and testing methods,
d)
Evaluate the functions of machine elements as well as the maintenance of machinery and equipment,
e)
to perform process-related calculations;
2.
the examinee is to process practical tasks in writing;
3.
the exam time is 120 minutes.
(7) The following guidelines exist for the examination area of economic and social studies:
1.
The purpose of the test is to demonstrate that it is capable of presenting and assessing the general economic and social context of the working and working world;
2.
the examinee is to process practical tasks in writing;
3.
the exam time is 60 minutes.

§ 8 Rules on weightings and regulations

(1) The individual examination areas shall be weighted as follows:

1. Print Processing Review Area 50 percent,

2. Examination area Order planning and communication 20 percent,

3. Process Technology Review Area 20 percent,

4. Examination area Economic and social studies 10 percent.
(2) The final examination has been passed if the services
1.
in the overall result, at least "sufficient",
2.
In the "Print Processing" examination area, at least "sufficient",
3.
in at least two further examination areas with at least "sufficient" and
4.
in no examination area with "insufficient"
(3) At the request of the examinee, the examination in one of the examination areas "Order Planning and Communication" or "Process Technology" or "Economic and Social Studies", which have been assessed as "sufficiently" as "sufficient", is to be assessed by an oral examination. An examination of about 15 minutes should be completed if this can be the case for the passing of the test. In determining the result for this examination area, the previous result and the result of the oral supplementary examination in the ratio of 2: 1 are to be weighted. Unofficial table of contents

§ 9 Existing Vocational Training Conditions

Vocational training relationships with bookbinders and bookbinderin accordance with the Vocational Training Ordination on the Buchbinder/Buchbinderin of 8 December 1995 (BGBl. 1610), as amended by the Regulation of 11 July 2001 (BGBl. 1577), which exist at the date of entry into force of this Regulation, if no intermediate examination has yet been filed and the Contracting Parties agree to do so, taking into account the period of training completed so far, after the date of entry into force of the the provisions of this Regulation shall be continued. Section 10 Financial Regulation

After successful completion of the vocational training for the machine and plant operator or the machine and plant manager in the main area of print and paper processing, the duration of training of a vocational training course for the media technologists can be Print processing or print processing media technology can be shortened by two years. Section 11 Entry into force
