I.

On the basis of Article 1 (1) of the Order of the Federal President on the appointment and dismissal of the Federal Officials and Judges in the Federal Service of 14 July 1975 (BGBl. I p. 1915), most recently by point 1 of the order of 11 November 1996 (BGBl. 1772), the President of the German Patent and Trademark Office shall revoke the exercise of the right to recruit officers of the higher service, appoint officials of grades A 14 and A 15, and shall be responsible for the appointment of officials of the higher service.
