Due to § 24 (2) of the De-Mail-Law of 28 April 2011 (BGBl. 666) in conjunction with the Second Section of the Administrative Costing Act of 23 June 1970 (BGBl. 821) is assigned by the Federal Ministry of the Interior:

§ 1 Fees and Deposits
(1) The Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information charges fees for the issuing of the certificate pursuant to Section 18 (3) (4) of the De-Mail-Law. (2) The Federal Office for Information Security collects the following Individually attributable public services Fees:

Granting of accreditation pursuant to § 17 (1) of the De-Mail-Law,
-
2.
-
Renewal of accreditation pursuant to Section 17 (3) of the De-Mail-Law,
-
3.
-
Confirmation of the equivalence of foreign service providers in accordance with § 19 (2) of the De-Mail-Act and
-
4.
-
(partial) undersawing of the holding pursuant to § 20 (3) of the De-Mail-Law.
(3) Charges shall be calculated on the basis of time. The following hourly rates are to be used:

1.

for employees of the higher service |
84 euros per hour, |

2.
-
for employees of the upscale service |
68 euros per hour, |
-
3.
-
for employees of the central service |
54 euros per hour. |
A quarter of the hourly rates shall be calculated for each quarter of an hour. (4) If individually attributable public services are provided outside the departments, the time required under paragraph 3 shall be added to:

1.
-
Travel times, which are within normal working hours or are particularly covered by the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, or by the Federal Office for Information Security,

2.
-
Waiting times that the charge debtor has caused.
(5) The expenses shall be charged separately, insofar as they are not included in the fee, in accordance with § 10 of the Administrative Costing Act.

§ 2 Entry into force
This Regulation shall enter into force with effect from 14 November 2011.
