The Convention on the Contract of Carriage in International Road Transport (CMR), which was signed in Geneva on 19 May 1956, and the signature protocol of the same day are agreed. The Agreement, together with the signing of the Protocol, shall be published below.

In the case of litigation arising out of a carriage subject to the Convention, the Court of First Instance shall also be responsible, in the district of which the place of taking over the good or the place intended for delivery of the goods is situated.

This law shall also apply in the Land of Berlin, provided that the Land Berlin determines the application of this law.

Art 3
(1) This Act shall enter into force on the day following its announcement. (2) The date on which the Convention and the Protocol of Undersigned for the Federal Republic of Germany enter into force shall be disclosed in the Federal Law Gazprom.
