On 13 August 2008 the Federal Minister for Defence of the Federal Republic of Germany adopted the decree of 6 November 1980 on the Foundation of the Federal Armed Forces ' honour mark, as last amended on 29 January 1996. This will introduce a further step, the Bundeswehr's ambition for bravery, to be the honor. In addition, the honor of the Bundeswehr in silver and the honor of the Bundeswehr in gold can be awarded in a special performance in the case of outstanding achievements.
According to Article 4 of the Sixth Decree on the approval of the Foundation and the award of the Order and honour of the 29th October 1980 (BGBl. I p. 2053) I approve this recast.
The Federal Ministry of the Interior publishes the recast of the decree on the foundation of the Bundeswehr's honorary sign in the Federal Gazette. Unofficial table of contents
