On 18 February 1991, the Federal Minister of Defence amended the decree of 6 November 1980 on the Foundation of the Federal Armed Forces ' honour mark. After that, the Medal of Honour of the Bundeswehr can be awarded for fidelity and above-average performance after a service period of nine months.
According to Article 4 of the Sixth Decree on the approval of the Foundation and the award of the Order and honour of the 29th October 1980 (BGBl. I p. 2053) I approve this amendment.
The Federal Minister of Defence publishes the decree on the amendment of the decree on the foundation of the Bundeswehr's honorary sign in the Federal Gazette (Bundesanzeiger).
