(1) On the basis of a decision of the Federal Government, I hereby announce that the federal coat of arms on a golden yellow ground shows the single-headed black eagle, turned the head to the right, the wings open, but with the plumage closed, beak, Tongue and catches of red color. (2) If the Federal Adler is shown without framing, the same image and the same colors as in the eagle are to be used in the federal coat of arms, but the tips of the pluggler are directed outward. (3) The in the Federal Ministry of the Interior are responsible for the heraldic design of the Bundeswappens authoritative. The artistic design is reserved for any particular purpose.
