§ 1 Established, competence

(1) Tasks of a family insurance fund within the meaning of § 72 (1) sentence 2 of the Income Tax Act are set up by the Federal Office of the Federal Administration of the Federal Administration Office.(2) The Bundesfamilienkasse (Bundesfamilienkasse) at the Federal Administrative Office (Bundesverwaltungsamt) is responsible for the determination and payment of child benefit to the members of the Federal Ministry of the Interior, referred to in § 72 (1) sentence 1 (1) (1) to (3) of the Income Tax Law. of its business unit. The Bundesfamilienkasse (Bundesfamilienkasse) at the Federal Administrative Office (Bundesverwaltungsamt) can be entrusted with further tasks relating to the setting, payment and recovery of child benefits. § 2 Task transfer

(1) The Bundesfamilienkasse (Bundesfamilienkasse) at the Federal Administrative Office (Bundesverwaltungsamt) can carry out the tasks of a family insurance fund in accordance with 1 for:
1.
Federal bodies, institutions and foundations of public law, as well as
2.
other federal agencies,
to the extent that these administrative bodies carry out the tasks.(2) The tasks referred to in paragraph 1 shall be transferred by written agreement between the Federal Administration Office and the administrative institution of the transferring family fund. The administrative arrangement shall be governed by the cost of the costs.(3) With the transfer, the Bundesfamilienkasse (Bundesfamilienkasse) enters into the legal status of the respective family fund at the Federal Administrative Office. The responsibilities for performance periods before 1996 shall remain unaffected by a transfer.(4) Agreements for the transfer of tasks pursuant to § 1, which have already been concluded with the Federal Administrative Office prior to the entry into force of this Regulation, go to the 3. § 3 Entry into force

This Regulation enters into force the day after the announcement.
