§ 1 Contribution rates in pension insurance

The contribution rate for the year 2001 amounts to 19.1% in the pension insurance of the workers and the employees and 25.4 per cent in the pension insurance scheme. Unofficial table of contents

§ 2 Contribution in the age-saving of farmers

(1) For the calendar year 2001, the contribution to farmers 'retirement provision amounts to 346 German marks per month. (2) The contribution to farmers' retirement provision amounts to 290 Deutsche Mark per month for the accession area for the calendar year 2001. Unofficial table of contents

§ 3 Contribution contribution in the pension scheme of farmers

(1) In Annex 1 to the Law on the Pensions of Farmers, the monthly allowance for the calendar year 2001 shall be as follows:

§ 4 conversion factors for pension provision in pension insurance

(1) The factors calculated on the basis of the provisional average salary and the contribution rates for the year 2001 shall be in 2001
1. in the pension insurance of the workers and the employees for conversion
a) of pay points in contributions 10444,6440,
by EntgeltPoints (East) in Contributions 8749,8065,
b) of contributions, cash values, cover capitals and comparable cover reserves in remuneration points 0.0000957429,
by contributions in Entgeltpunkte (Ost) 0,0001142882,
2. in the crunic pension insurance scheme for conversion
a) of pay points in contributions 13889,7360,
by EntgeltPoints (East) in Contributions 11635,8683,
b) of contributions in remuneration points 0.0000719956,
by contributions in Entgeltpunkte (Ost) 0.0000859412.
(2) Points of remuneration shall be converted into contributions by multiplying them by the conversion factor determining at the time the contribution is made. (3) Contributions shall be converted into charges by means of the contributions at the time of the contribution. The conversion factor determining the contribution direction shall be multiplied. The conversion may also be carried out by dividing the contributions by the value of the factor, which would be decisive for the conversion of charges in contributions. (4) Cash values, cover capitals and comparable cover reserves shall be included in the Charges shall be converted by multiplying them by the conversion factor which is relevant for the date in which the insurance case is deemed to have occurred. The conversion may also be carried out by dividing the cash values, cover capitals and comparable cover reserves by the value of the factor, which would be decisive for the conversion of pay points in contributions. § 5 Payments for child-raising periods

The federal government pays an amount of 22,555,826,020 Deutsche Mark to the pension insurance scheme of the workers and the employees for the year 2001 in order to pay the flat-rate payment for the contribution payment for child-raising periods. Unofficial table of contents

§ 6 Entry into force

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 2001.
