§ 1

In order to manage the burnt wine monopoly in the federal territory, the Federal Ministry of Finance is set up under the Federal Finance Administration for the establishment of a federal monopoly for spirits. Unofficial table of contents

§ 2

The seat of the Federal monopoly administration is located in the Frankfurt am Main area. The more detailed provision will be left to the Federal Government. Unofficial table of contents

§ 3

The administration of the assets existing in the federal territory, which serves the tasks of the Branntweinmonopol, goes to the federal monopoly administration. It shall have the right to dispose of the assets used for the monopoly of the wine monopoly in the course of proper administration. Unofficial table of contents

§ 4

The responsibilities of the German Democratic Republic ' s monopoly administration for spirits are no longer applicable. The administration of the assets of this monopoly administration, which serves the tasks of the Branntweinmonopol, goes on to the Federal monopoly administration for spirits. This is entitled to dispose of it within the framework of proper administration. At the same time, it undertakes the obligations of the monopoly management for spirits. Private-law contracts of this monopoly administration may be terminated by any part of the contract by way of derogation from longer contractual periods of termination with a period of at least one quarter. The right of dismissal shall be terminated on 31 December 1991. If a part of the contract makes use of the extraordinary right to terminate the contract, it shall be entitled to compensate the other part in an appropriate manner on his application. § 5

This law also applies in the Land of Berlin, as soon as the Land of Berlin decides to apply the law in accordance with Article 87 (2) of its Constitution. Unofficial table of contents

§ 6

This law will take place with the 1. October 1950, in force.
