On the basis of § 58 (1) of the Federal Police Act of 19. October 1994 (BGBl. 2978), most recently by Article 1 (11) (a) of the Law of 21 June 2005 (BGBl). I p. 1818), the Federal Ministry of the Interior is ordering: Unofficial table of contents

§ 1 Substantive Responsibilities

(1) The Federal Police Presidium as the High Authority and the Federal Police Directorates as well as the Federal Police Academy as sub-authorities are factually responsible for the performance of the tasks assigned to the Federal Police in accordance with § 1 para. 2 of the Federal Police Law. (2) The Federal Police Presidium coordinates and coordinates the Federal Police Department's nationwide duties and carries out the supervision of duties and supervision of the federal police authorities that are responsible for the police. The Federal Police Presidium can also carry out missions and investigations. (3) In order to carry out the following tasks, they are responsible for the following tasks:

Section 6 (1) No. 2 and Section 32 (1) No. 1 of the Foreigners Central Register Act (Ausländerzentralregistergesetz) as well as the Annex to the AZRG Implementing Regulation, where reference is made there to the federal police authority designated in this decree.
g)
§ 1 (1) of the right-wing extremism-file-law;

Section 13 (2) of the Federal Police Act,

Section 26 (2) of the Passport Act,

Section 64b (3) of the Railway-Building and Operating Regulations,
e)
Section 49 (3) of the Railway-Construction and Operating Regulations for narrow-gauge railways,

Section 78 of the Residence Regulation;

the Federal Police Directorate Airport Frankfurt/Main for the tasks pursuant to Section 4a of the Federal Police Act;
3.
the Federal Police Directorate of Bad Bramstedt for the tasks according to § 6 of the Federal Police Act;
4.
The Federal Police Directorate responsible for the tasks referred to in
a)
Section 61 (2) of the Federal Police Act,
b)
Section 61 (3) of the Federal Police Act;
c)
§ 1 (1) of the right-wing extremism-file-law;
5.
The Federal Police Directorate responsible for the prosecution of administrative offences, in each case
a)
Section 13 (2) of the Federal Police Act,
b)
Section 26 (2) of the Passport Act,
c)
Section 10 (5) of the Freedom of Movement Act/EU,
d)
Section 64b (3) of the Railway-Building and Operating Regulations,
e)
Section 49 (3) of the Railway-Construction and Operating Regulations for narrow-gauge railways,
f)
Section 78 of the Residence Regulation.
This includes the responsibility for issuing warnings in the event of minor offences.
(4) Only the Federal Police Presidium is empowered to take measures pursuant to Section 31 (7) of the Federal Police Act. (5) Measures pursuant to Section 22a (1) sentence 2, § 28 (3) sentence 1, § 30 (4) and § 31 (3) sentence 1 of the Federal Police Act are the only measures to be taken. (6) The Federal Police College is the central training and training centre of the Federal Police Office (Bundespolice Academy), which is responsible for the tasks of the Federal Police Office (Bundespolicakademie). § 2 Local responsibilities

(1) Local police directorates shall be responsible for the local police directorates:
1.
the Federal Police Directorate of Bad Bramstedt
a)
in the countries of Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and
b)
at sea inside and outside the German coastal sea and beyond, on the maritime routes on the Ems to the Seeschleuse Emden and on the Jade, on the River Weser to Bremerhaven and on the Elbe to the entrance to the Kiel Canal;
2.
the Federal Police Directorate Hannover in the state of Lower Saxony, in the Land of Bremen as well as in the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, unless the Federal Police Directorate Bad Bramstedt is responsible;
3.
the Federal Police Directorate Sankt Augustin in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia;
4.
the Federal Police Directorate of Koblenz in the countries of Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland and Hesse, unless the Federal Police Directorate is responsible for Frankfurt/Main Airport;
5.
the Federal Police Directorate Stuttgart in the state of Baden-Württemberg;
6.
the Federal Police Directorate Munich in the Free State of Bavaria;
7.
the Federal Police Directorate Pirna in the Free States of Saxony and Thuringia and in the Land of Saxony-Anhalt;
8.
the Federal Police Directorate Berlin in the Länder of Berlin and Brandenburg;
9.
the Bundespolice direktion Flughafen Frankfurt/Main at Frankfurt/Main Airport and nationwide for the performance of tasks pursuant to Section 4a of the Federal Police Act;
10.
the Directorate for Federal Police for the Coordination of Operations of Closed Associations and Units according to § 59 (2) sentence 2 of the Federal Police Act (Bundespolicgesetz) throughout the Federal Republic of Germany.
(2) By way of derogation from the powers laid down in paragraph 1, the federal police authorities shall have jurisdiction over the whole of Germany.
1.
for the performance of railway police tasks according to § 3 of the Federal Police Act, insofar as it is appropriate for the purpose to be used beyond the areas of responsibility laid down in paragraph 1,
2.
for the deportation at the border, deportations at the border and the repatriation of foreigners from and to other states in accordance with section 71 (3) (1) to (1b) and (1d) of the Residence Act,
3.
on the instructions of the Federal Ministry of the Interior or the federal police authority, as long as it is also responsible for the area of application provided for,
4.
for the police backup of its own facilities according to § 1 paragraph 3 of the Federal Police Act.

§ 3 Entry into force, external force

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 March 2008.
