The training regulations and the framework curriculum for the vocational school, agreed by the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder in the Federal Republic of Germany, will shortly be published as a supplement to the Federal Gazette.

Pursuant to Article 25 (1), first sentence, in conjunction with Article 26 (1) and (2), first sentence, points 3 and 7 of the Craft Code, of which Article 25 (1) was last amended by Article 146 of the Regulation of 31 December 2008. § 1 State recognition of the vocational training profession

The training occupation of the Böttcher and the Böttcherin is recognized by the state in accordance with § 25 of the Craft Code of Crafts for Industrial Training Number 17, Böttcher, Appendix B, Section 1 of the Craft Regulations. Unofficial table of contents

§ 2 Duration of vocational training

§ 3 Training framework plan, vocational training programme

(1) The subject-matter of vocational training shall be at least the skills, knowledge and skills listed in the training framework plan (Appendix) (professional capacity for action). An organization of the training, which deviates from the training framework plan, is particularly permissible, insofar as the particularities of the company's practical experience require the deviation. (2) The vocational training for the Böttcher and the Böttcherin is structured as follows:
Section A
Job-profiling skills, knowledge and skills:

Working and processing of wood, plant and auxiliary materials,
2.
Set up, serve and maintain tools, equipment, machinery and technical equipment,
3.
Manufacture of perennials and floors,
4.
Manufacture of tyres,
5.
Manufacture of barrels, embaskets, containers and other products,
6.
Repair of barrels, vats, containers and other products,
7.
Installation of fittings and accessories,
8.
Treatment of surfaces,
9.
Perform assembly work,
10.
Recycle barrels, embaskets, containers, other products and residues;
Section B
Integrative skills, knowledge and skills:
1.
Vocational training, labour and collective bargaining,
2.
Establishment and organisation of training activities,
3.
safety and health protection at work,
4.
environmental protection,
5.
Plan and prepare work processes, work in a team,
6.
Operational and technical communication,
7.
Create and apply technical documentation,
8.
Customer orientation,
9.
Carry out quality assurance measures.

§ 4 Implementation of vocational training

(1) The skills, knowledge and skills referred to in this Regulation shall be taught in such a way as to enable trainees to pursue a qualified professional activity within the meaning of Article 1 (3) of the Vocational Training Act. , which includes, in particular, independent planning, implementation and control. This qualification is to be proved in the exams according to § § 5 and 6. (2) The trainees have to draw up a training plan on the basis of the training framework plan for the trainees. (3) The trainees have a written Evidence of formal qualifications. They should be given the opportunity to carry out the written evidence of formal qualifications during the training period. § 5 Interim examination

(1) The intermediate examination shall be carried out before the end of the second year of training. (2) The intermediate examination shall cover the skills, knowledge and skills referred to in the Annex for the first three years of training, and the skills and abilities referred to in the Annex. (3) The intermediate examination consists of the examination area Manufacturers of a wooden container. 3.
the total examination time is seven hours. Within this time, the situational discussion will be conducted in a maximum of 15 minutes and the written tasks will be carried out in 60 minutes.

§ 6 Gesellenprüfung

(1) The journeyman's examination shall cover the skills, knowledge and skills listed in the Annex, as well as the teaching material to be mediated in the course of vocational education, to the extent that it is essential to vocational training. (2) Gesellenprüfung consists of the examination areas:
1.
planning and manufacturing,
2.
repair and surface treatment,
3.
Construction and technology,
4.
Economic and social studies.
(3) The following guidelines exist for the examination area Planning and Production:
1.
The test specimen shall demonstrate that it is
a)
apply technical documentation,
b)
Make drawings, cracks, stencils and models,
c)
Define constructions and materials,
d)
Set and apply connection techniques,
e)
bulky, closed containers,
f)
take account of work organisation, safety and health protection at work, environmental protection, customer orientation, economic efficiency and quality assurance,
g)
Planning, carrying out and documenting work processes independently and in a customer-oriented way, taking into account economic, technical and organisational requirements, as well as
h)
Show the technical background relevant to the examination task and justify the procedure
may;
2.
the examination area shall be based on the planning and manufacture of a bulky, closed container;
3.
the test piece is to produce a test piece and document it with task-specific documents as well as carry out an order-related expert discussion;
4.
The examination time, including the documentation, is 16 hours in total; for the job-related expert discussion at most 30 minutes.
(4) The following guidelines exist for the examination area repair and surface treatment:
1.
the examinee is to prove that he
a)
Detect damage,
b)
lay down measures for the elimination of damage;
c)
Replace defective parts
d)
Treat surfaces according to the repair performed
may;
2.
the examination area shall be based on the planning and execution of a repair, including surface treatment;
3.
the test specimen is to carry out a work task and document it with task-specific documents;
4.
The examination time for the work task, including the documentation, is four hours.
(5) The following guidelines exist for the examination area Design and Technology:
1.
the examinee is to prove that he
a)
Determine material properties and design characteristics,
b)
carry out calculations for the construction of barrels, bottiches and containers,
c)
Determine the material and time requirements and calculate costs, and
d)
creating technical documentation
may;
2.
the examinee shall deal with subject-related tasks in writing;
3.
the exam time is 150 minutes.
(6) The following guidelines exist for the examination area of economic and social studies:
1.
the examinee is to prove that he is able to present and assess the general economic and social relationships of the working and working world;
2.
the examinee shall deal with subject-related tasks in writing;
3.
the exam time is 60 minutes.

§ 7 Rules for the weighting and the existence of the system

(1) The examination areas shall be weighted as follows:
1. Planning Review Area
and manufacture
40 percent,

20 percent,
3. Construction Review Scope

30 percent,
4. Examination area Economic-
and social studies
10 percent.

(2) The journeyman's examination has been passed if the benefits have been evaluated as follows:
1.
in the overall result, at least "sufficient",
2.
in at least three examination areas with at least "sufficient" and
3.
in no examination area with "insufficient".
(3) At the request of the examinee, the examination in one of the examination areas rated worse than "sufficient", in which examination achievements with its own request and weighting are to be provided in writing, shall be carried out by an oral examination of, for example, 15 minutes if this can be the case for the passing of the test. In determining the result for this examination area, the previous result and the result of the oral supplementary examination in the ratio of 2: 1 are to be weighted. Unofficial table of contents

§ 8 Existing Vocational Training Conditions

By way of derogation from Article 25 (4) of the Craft Regulations, vocational training conditions which exist at the date of entry into force of this Regulation may be continued in accordance with the provisions of this Regulation, taking into account the training period completed so far if the contracting parties agree to this. § 9 Entry into force, external force

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 August 2010. At the same time, the Ordination on Vocational Training on the Böttcher is due to take place on 9 August 1978 (BGBl. 1253). Unofficial table of contents
