General

1.
For Vehicles, which apply for a Community certificate shall be Annex II, with the exception of the provisions referred to in paragraph 2, to apply the measures resulting from the following provisions:

Appendix II § 1.01 is to be applied with the proviso that

§ 1.07 Service Instructions

§ 4.04 Lowering Marks

1.
The level of the greatest sinking is to be determined in such a way that the rules on the minimum freeboard and the minimum safety margin are met. For safety reasons, the Commission of Inquiry may set a greater safety margin or a freeboard. The level of the largest depression must be fixed at least for zone 3.
2.
The level of the largest depression is made by well-visible and inexorable Countersines marked.
3.
Lowering Marks for Zone 3 consist of a rectangle of 300 mm in length and 40 mm in height, the base of which is horizontal and has a height of 300 mm, and the height of the mark is greater than the height of the zone the level of authorised major sinking. 4.
Ships must have at least three pairs of countermarks, one of which is approximately 1/2 L and the other two must be located approximately at 1/6 L behind the bow and in front of the rear. By way of derogation

The inclusion marks or indications that have become invalid as a result of a renewed investigation are to be removed under the supervision of the Commission of Inquiry or to be marked as invalid. Insignificant entry marks may only be replaced under the supervision of a commission of inquiry.
6.

§ 7.02 Free view

1.
From the control level, there must be enough free view on all sides.
2.
The view shadow the bow of the empty ship shall not exceed 250 m or 2 ship lengths up to the surface of the water, whichever is less, depending on the value of the empty ship, with half the stocks and no ballast. Optical and electronic aids for shortening the viewing shadow must not be taken into account during the examination. Only suitable electronic aids may be used for the further shortening of the visual shadow.
3.
The free field of view from the place where the rowing worker is usually located, must be at least 240 ° of the horizon. § 7.05 Signal lights, light signs, and sound characters

1.
.In this appendix, mean
a)
Signal lights: Topplichter, side lights, rear lights, lights visible from all sides, blue sparkellights, yellow fast strong sparkellights for fast ships and blue lights for the carriage of dangerous goods;
b)
Light signs: the lights belonging to the sound signs and the blue board.
2.
In order to control the signal lights, power lamps or equivalent devices such as melodies must be installed in the wheelhouse, provided that this control is not directly from the Control house is possible.

Chapter 8a
Regulations for the installation of type-tested engines in vehicles

§ 8a.01 Definitions

For the purposes of this rule:
1.
"Competent Authority" the Central Office of the Ship Investigation Commission/Shipyards at the South-West Water and Shipping Directorate;
2.
"Motor" a motor that works according to the compression ignition principle (diesel engine);
3.
"vehicle drive motor" a motor that is installed as a main or auxiliary drive in a vehicle;
4.
"Vehicle auxiliary engine" a motor that is not used as a vehicle drive motor for the special applications in machines on board a vehicle;
5.
"Exchange engine" a used, instated engine designed to replace a motor that is in operation and which is of the same type as the engine to be replaced, the same number of cylinders and whose power and speed differ by no more than 10% from that of the engine to be replaced;
6.
"Type approval" means the decision to use According to § 3 of the inland waterway exhaust emission regulation of 20. 8.
"Intermediate examination" of the procedure by which the the competent authority shall ensure that the engine operated in a vehicle, even after any changes and/or adjustments made since the installation has been carried out, in relation to the level of the emission of gaseous pollutants, and air contaminating particles comply with the technical requirements of this Regulation and the requirements of the Inland Waterway Exhaust Emission Regulation;
9.
"Special examination" the procedure whereby the competent authority ensures that the engine operated in a vehicle is also the subject of any substantial change in the level of the emission of gaseous and particulate pollutants to the the technical requirements of this provision and the requirements of the inland waterway exhaust emission regulation;
10.
"engine group" means a part I of Annex I to Annex 1 Manufacturer defined and approved by the competent authority in accordance with Article 3 of the Inland Waterway Exhaust Emission Regulation, the summary of engines which have a similar design characteristics with regard to the level of the emission of gaseous pollutant and particulate pollutants, and comply with the requirements of this Regulation and the requirements of the inland waterway exhaust emission regulation, with the adjustment or modification of individual engines according to the Type test within specified limits is allowed;
11.
"Engine parameter log" the document according to Appendix 8, Part II, in which all parameters, including components (components) and engine settings that affect the level of the emission of gaseous pollutants and particulate pollutants of the engine, including their changes, recorded;
12.
"Engine manufacturer's instructions for controlling the exhaust gas-relevant components and engine parameters" created for the purpose of carrying out the installation, intermediate or special tests Document. 13.
"Directive" Directive 97 /68/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 1997 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States on measures to combat the emission of gaseous and particulate pollutants from internal combustion engines to be used in non-road mobile machinery (OJ L 327, 30.4.2004, p. EC No OJ No L 059, 27. February 1998), as last amended by Directive 2004 /26/EC of 21 February 1998. 1 April 2004 (OJ L 327, EU L 146 of 30 OJ L 327, 27.4.2004, p. 14.

§ 8a.02 Basic Rule

For all engines, the following general rules apply:
1.
The provisions apply to all motors with a rated power (PN) of 19 kW or more, which are installed in vehicles or in machines on board. Without prejudice to the provisions of point 2 and paragraph 3, Article 7a (1) and (5) of the Directive shall also apply to limit values and type-approval for motor vehicle engines with a nominal output of more than 37 kW. The following are excluded:
a)

aa)

4.
For the performance of the installation tests, the following shall apply:
a)
After the engine has been installed on board, but before it is put into service, an installation check carried out. § 8a.03 Type approvals

1.
The following type approvals are to be recognized, if the engine application is covered by the type approval is:
a)

§ 8a.04 Special motor applications

1.
Engines that are designed for more than one engine application in onboard operation are as follows: Treat:

powered by a Generator with constant speed, can be assigned to engine applications II, III and IV of the table according to paragraph 3

§ 8a.05 Installation, intermediate and special tests

1.

If the engine is not in conformity , or if the type-approval is not amended accordingly, or if the measurements show that the emissions do not comply with the limit values, the competent authority shall refuse to issue or take a certificate of travel return the technical approval to the traffic and require the return of the already issued travel certificate or declare it invalid.

Engines with exhaust gas aftertreatment system must be checked for the function of the exhaust after-treatment system as part of the installation, intermediate or special test.

§ 8a.06 Technical Services

1.

b)

§ 2 Deviations for vehicles already in operation

1.
Without prejudice to § § 3 and 4, vehicles that do not fully comply with this regulation must comply with the provisions of Annex II referred to in the following table after the first grant of their Community certificate or of any other type of transport authorisation

§ 4 Other deviations

If the application of the provisions referred to in this article is practically difficult to execute after the expiry of the transitional provisions, or unreasonably high costs, the Commission of Inquiry may, on request in individual cases, on the basis of recommendations made by the Committee, in accordance with the procedure referred to in Article 19 (2) of Directive 2006 /87/EC, derogations from those provisions .
