On the basis of § 15 (2) sentence 1 and § 29 (4) of the Federal disciplinary code in the version of the notice of 20 July 1967 (BGBl. I p. 750, 984) I order:

I.
The members of the service referred to in § 1 (1) (3) of the Regulation on § 127 of the Federal disciplinary code may impose fines of up to a quarter of the maximum permissible amount. The members of the service referred to in § 1 (1) (4) of the Regulation on § 127 of the Federal disciplinary code may impose fines of up to one fifth of the maximum permissible amount.

II.
The disciplinary powers of the supreme service authority in the case of civil servants shall be transferred to the competent authorities responsible for the initiation of retirement before the beginning of the retirement.

This arrangement shall enter into force on 30 March 1999.
