Pursuant to Section 80a (2) of the Federal Civil Service Act (Bundesbeamtengesetz) in the version of the notice of 3 January 1977 (BGBl. I p. 1), the Federal Government is responsible for: Unofficial table of contents

§ 1

For juvenile law enforcement officers in the Federal Police, which belong to associations or units, the following exceptions are provided for by the provisions of the Youth Labour Protection Act of 12 April 1976 (BGBl. 965), to the extent that this is necessary to ensure the training:
1.
The day-to-day working time, including periods in which young people are not used for work, may be up to 12 hours
a)
in the first year of training a maximum of four times a month, with a maximum of three times a month for training in the security guard service, but not more often than six and thirty times a year,
b)
in the second year of training no more than six times a month, with a maximum of three times a month for training in the security guard service.
The weekly working time may not exceed 48 hours in the first year of training and 50 hours in the second year of training.
2.
For stays in the breaks, the rooms can be visited in the accommodation, provided this is not excluded due to an outdoor training.
3.
The shift time may be
a)
in the first year of training up to 14 hours a maximum of four times a month, of which for the training in the security guard service is not more than three times a month,
b)
in the second year of training up to 16 hours a maximum of six times a month, of which for the training in the security guard service is not more than three times a month.
4.
Daily uninterrupted leisure time may be restricted up to a maximum of six hours following training in the security guard service and on-call time in the second year of training, but not more than three times a month.
5.
Employment at night is permitted
a)
in the first year of training a maximum of four times a month, of which for the training in the security guard service is not more than three times a month, but not more than six and thirty times a year, and is limited to the period up to 24 for the training of motor vehicles. Clock,
b)
in the second year of training no more than six times a month, of which for the training in the security guard service is not more than three times a month, but not more than forty-eight times a year.
Following training at night, with the exception of training in the security guard and on-call time, an uninterrupted leisure time of at least 12 hours shall be granted; leisure time shall be at least twenty-four hours, if this training ends after 24 o'clock.
6.
Training on more than five days in the week is permitted at most once a month, but in the first year of training only for training in the security guard service.
7.
The training on Saturdays and Sundays is permitted at most once a month, but in the first year of training only for training in the security guard service.
8.
The training on 24. or 31 December-after 2 p.m.-as well as on public holidays, the security guard service and on-call time shall be valid at most twice a year, but in the first year of training only for the training in the security guard service.

§ 2

If, for compelling service reasons, juvenile police officers in the Federal Police who have completed the basic training have to be used for services, because of the fact that associations and units with only full-year old police officers are required to provide services. § 8 (1), § 11 (1) to (4), § § 12, 13 and 14 (1), § § 15 to 18 and 22 (1) No. 3 to 5 of the Youth Labour Protection Act (Jugendarbeitsschutzgesetz) are not possible. shall be admissible in so far as it is necessary to carry out tasks of the Federal Police in accordance with the First Section of the Federal police law to be complied with. Particular consideration should be given to the capacity and training levels of young people; the use of juvenile police officers in such services, which are likely to be accompanied by special hazards and with exceptional physical or mental stress, is not allowed. § 3

Exceptions to the provisions of the Youth Labour Protection Act in the scope specified in § 2 sentence 1 are also permissible for juvenile police officers in the Federal Police during the basic training, if the Federal Minister of the Interior under the in the first sentence of paragraph 2, the services provided by these officials in the event of natural disasters, particularly serious accidents or in cases of a different nature, which the forces of the police are taking to an exceptional degree. Particular consideration should be given to the capacity and training levels of young people; the use of juvenile police officers in such services, which are likely to be accompanied by special hazards and with exceptional physical or mental stress, is not allowed. § 4

Additional work that young law enforcement officers in the Federal Police in the cases of § § 1 to 3 above the working time in accordance with § 8 (1) of the Youth Protection Act (Jugendarbeitsschutzgesetz) is to be compensated for within four weeks by duty exemption. Unofficial table of contents

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day after the date of delivery.
