§ 1 Decision on contradictions

The Federal Administrative Office shall be empowered to decide on appeals by officials of the Federal Office of Justice in matters relating to remuneration, service accident, travel expenses, removal costs and severing costs, to the extent that: the Federal Administrative Office has taken the measure or has rejected it. The Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection reserves the right to decide for itself on a case-by-case basis.

§ 2 Representation in the case of legal action

The President or the President of the Federal Administrative Office shall represent the Federal Republic of Germany in the case of claims by officials of the Federal Office of Justice of the grades up to and including A 11 in matters relating to the Remuneration, the service accident, travel expenses, transfer costs, and the right of separation of money, insofar as the Federal Administrative Office was responsible for issuing the right of appeal pursuant to this order. The Federal Minister of Justice and the Federal Minister of Justice and Consumer Protection can, in individual cases, regulate or take over the representation by way of derogation from this arrangement.

§ 3 Transitional Regulation

§ § 1 and 2 shall not apply to inconsistencies and claims made prior to the entry into force of this order. Unofficial table of contents

§ 4 Entry into force
