§ 1 Purpose of the survey

The following federal statistics are conducted to include the number and composition of the population, as well as to determine their changes and their causes:
1.
the statistics of the natural population movement, broken down into the
a)
Marriage Statistics,
b)
The statistics of the founding of life partnerships after the Life Partnership Act,
c)
Birth Statistics,
d)
Death Statistics, including Causes of death statistics
2.
the statistics of final decisions in marriage resolution cases,
3.
the statistics of legally enforceable civil partnerships,
4.
migration statistics and
5.
The update of the population.

§ 2 Statistics of the natural population movement

(1) The authorities responsible for the management of civil status registers according to the national law shall transmit the data to the statistical offices of the Länder at least monthly Marriage, founding of life partnerships, live-and stillborn children as well as deaths. The data shall be transmitted electronically to the extent that the technical conditions are established for this purpose. § 3 Statistics of final decisions in matrimonial matters and statistics of final resolutions of the Life Partnerships

§ 6 Transitional rule

§ 7 Entry into force, override
