Article 1 (18) provides for the implementation of Article 6 of Council Directive 2001 /23/EC of 12 March 2001 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to the safeguarding of employees ' rights in the event of transfers of undertakings, undertakings or establishment (OJ L 327, 22. EC No L 82 p. 16).
Article 1 (51) (a) serves in part for the implementation of Council Directive 2000 /78/EC of 27 November 2000 establishing a general framework for equal treatment in employment and occupation (OJ L 378, 27.12.2000, p. EC No L 303 p. 16).

Art 13 Recast of the German Works Constitution Act

The Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs can make known the wording of the Works Constitution Act in the version in force of the entry into force of this Act in the Federal Law Gazans. Unofficial table of contents

Type 14 Entry into force

This Act shall enter into force on the day after the announcement. For works councils existing at the time of entry into force, Article 1 (8), (13) and (35) (a) shall apply only when they are re-elected.
