On the basis of Section 13 of the Second Remuneration Transitional Regulation, as amended by the Notice of 2 June 1993 (BGBl. 778, 1035) are listed in Annexes IA to ID as well as IIA to IID which are based on § 2 (1) and § 3 (2) of this Regulation on the basis of annexes IV, V, VIII and IX of the Bundesbesoldungsgesetz (Bundesbesoldungsgesetz) in the version of the notice of the 9 March 1992 (BGBl. 409), as last amended by Article 1 of the Law of 20 December 1993 (BGBl I). 2139), the resulting service and the increase in remuneration for the period from 1 May 1993, in respect of the remuneration referred to in the second sentence below the position table in Annex IB for the period from 1 January 1993, published by the Federal Minister for the Interior Unofficial table of contents

In the case of more than one child, the local surcharge increases by 107.68 marks for each additional child to be taken into account.
In tariff class II, level 3 shall be increased for the first child to be taken into account in grades A 1 to A 5 by DM 7.40 each, and from level 4 for each additional child to be taken into account in grades A 1 to A 3 by 37,00 DM, in grade A 4 by 29.60 DM each and in grade A 5 by 22.20 DM each. To the extent that in individual cases the remuneration falls short of that from a lower grade, the difference shall be granted in addition.
