§ 1 Outline and content of the Master Examination

The master test in the craft-like funeral industry comprises the following independent test parts:
1.
the examination of the masterly direction of the activities (Part I),
2.
the examination of the special subject-specific knowledge (Part II),
3.
the examination of the specific business, commercial and legal knowledge (Part III) and
4.
the examination of the necessary vocational and occupational pedagogical knowledge (Part IV).

§ 2 Master examination profession

(1) The master test shall determine whether the test item is capable of:
1.
to operate a holding,
2.
to carry out technical, commercial and personnel management tasks,
3.
to carry out the training and
(2) In the funeral sector, the following skills and knowledge are to be considered as qualifications for the purposes of the master's examination be considered:
1.
Determine customer requirements, advise customers, offer services, conduct contract negotiations and set order targets, calculate services and draw up offers, conclude contracts,

Perform technical, commercial and personnel management tasks, in particular taking into account the operational organisation, the in-company training and further training, the quality management, the labour protection law, data protection, protection of the environment and information and communication technologies,
3.
Plan, organize, run, and monitor order fulfillment processes
4.
Carry out contracts, in particular in the light of procedures and methods of planning and organisation of work, of professional legal provisions, including hygiene rules, technical standards and the general public recognised rules of technology, personnel, materials and equipment, as well as opportunities for the use of apprentices,
5.
-organise formalities with public authorities and private and public service providers, plan and arrange press and public relations activities, in particular with regard to the provision of funeral services, as well as the funeral services, mourning, Commemorative and cemetery culture,
6.
to take into account religious foundations as well as regional, social and philosophical peculiarities of the funeral, mourning, commemorative and cemetery culture,
7.
Plan, coordinate, carry out and control earth and fire burials as well as exhumations and rebates, taking into account the use of techniques, tools, equipment and machinery,
8.
Plan, coordinate and control the use of goods and services in economic, ecological, design, ethical and hygienic aspects,
9.
carry out technical and organisational tasks, taking into account instruments, methods and procedures for the operation of graveyards, and open up new areas of support within the framework of official planning of the construction of buildings,
10.
carry out technical and organisational tasks, taking into account instruments, methods and procedures for the operation of crematoria,
11.
prepare plans, especially work and organization plans, and create and present sketches and drafts,
12.
Develop and implement logistics concepts for operating and storage equipment,
13.
Monitor and ensure the suitability of tools, equipment and machines,
14.
identify technical, organizational and service-related defects, take measures to eliminate them, evaluate and document results,
15.
Control services, take off and log, perform pre-and post-calculation.

Section 3 Outline of Part I

Part I of the Master's examination comprises the following examination areas:
1.
a master inspection project and a technical discussion related to it,
2.
a situation task.

§ 4 Master examination project

(1) The test specimen shall carry out a master inspection project which corresponds to a customer order. Before carrying out the Master's examination project, the examinee shall develop a concept of implementation, including time and material planning, which shall correspond to the customer's requirements defined by the Master Examination Committee. (2) Master examination project consists of planning, implementation and documentation work. (3) As a master test project is
1.
an earthquake with national or international reference,
2.
a fire-burial with national or international reference, or
3.
Exhumation or rebasing, taking into account regulatory requirements
(4) The design, planning, calculation and documentation documents will be weighted with a total of 50 per cent and 50 per cent of the work carried out, as well. Unofficial table of contents

§ 5 Technical Discussion

The examinee has to prove that he is competent in an expert discussion about the completed master examination project,
1.
to identify the technical connections that underlie the Master's examination project,
2.
to justify the completion of the Master's examination project;
3.
to present occupational problems associated with the Master Review project and their solutions, taking into account new developments.

§ 6 Situation Task

(1) The situation task is order-oriented and completes the qualification certificate for the master examination in the funeral industry. (2) As a situation task, technical, organizational or service-related defects must be identified for a given
1.

3.

§ 7 Examination period and existence of Part I

(1) The execution of the Master's examination project shall not last longer than three working days, the expert discussion no longer than 30 minutes, and the execution of the situation task shall not last longer than five hours. § 8 Outline, duration and existence of Part II

(1) The examination in Part II shall demonstrate the competence of the examinee in the fields of action referred to in paragraph 2 (1) to (4) by analysing and evaluating occupational problems and by showing possible solutions; and (2) In each field of activity, at least one task must be worked on, which must be case-oriented.
1.
Funeral advice

The purpose of the audit is to demonstrate that it is capable of handling consulting tasks in a funeral service, taking into account economic and ecological aspects, as well as ethical, religious and cultural requirements. In doing so, he is to analyse and evaluate occupational situations. In the respective task, several of the qualifications listed under points (a) to (g) are to be linked:
a)
Develop concepts for the implementation of customer talks on burials and for the provision of burials and their financing; consider the conditions for receiving the funeral order,
b)
Develop counselling concepts for trauerpsychological help
c)
Plan and evaluate the sequence of funeral ceremonies, taking into account ethical and cultural aspects,
d)
Design and assess the grief media,
e)
Develop product and performance presentations also using modern presentation techniques and media,
f)
describe and evaluate ethical and hygienic requirements for the planning and execution of burials,
g)
the meaning of religious foundations as well as the regional, social and ideological characteristics of the funeral, mourning, commemorative and cemetery culture and evaluate and evaluate.
2.
Cemetery and crematorium operations

The purpose of the test is to demonstrate that it is capable of handling technical and organisational tasks, taking economic and ecological aspects into account. In doing so, he is to analyse and evaluate occupational situations. In the respective task, several of the qualifications listed under points (a) to (e) are to be linked:
a)
describe and assess the requirements for plants and machines for the cemetery and crematorium operation,
b)
Represent and evaluate work and assembly processes, in particular during the introduction of formwork, as well as in the setting and overbuilding of graves,
c)
Display and select kiln and filter techniques for crematoria, as well as justify the selection,
d)
describe and assess ethical requirements for the operation of cemeteries and crematoria, in particular in the treatment of Aschen deceased,
e)
present and evaluate the environmentally sound and hygienic operation of cemeteries and crematoria.
3.
Order fulfillment

The purpose of the test project is to demonstrate that it is able to plan, carry out and control order processing processes, also using industry-standard software, success, customer and quality-oriented. In the respective task, several of the qualifications listed under points (a) to (h) are to be linked:
a)
the ability to create orders, identify customer requests, collect order data,
b)
Create offer documents and evaluate offers, offer costing,
c)
Evaluate the methods and procedures of the planning and organisation of work, taking into account the application of the funeral, the use of personnel, materials and equipment, as well as the quality assurance aspects as well as interfaces between Consider workspaces,
d)
apply professional legal provisions and technical standards, as well as recognised rules of technology, in particular to judge questions of liability in the case of services,
e)
Create job plans, including information and communication systems,
f)
determine and justify the application-related use of material, machinery and equipment,

h)
Post-calculation.
4.
Management and operational organisation

The purpose of the test is to demonstrate that it is capable of carrying out tasks of the management and organisation of operations, taking into account the legal provisions, including the use of information and communication systems. In the respective task, several of the qualifications listed under points (a) to (i) are to be linked:
a)
to identify operational costs, taking into account business-related costs,
b)
check operational cost structures; identify operational indicators,
c)
Develop marketing measures for customer care and the acquisition of new customers against the background of technical and economic developments,
d)
plan and present operational quality management,
e)
carry out tasks of human resources management, the relationship between human resources management and personnel management and development,
f)
Develop and evaluate measures for the psychological processing of professional impressions and experiences,
g)
develop operational specific measures for compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and environmental protection; assess potential hazards and define measures to prevent and eliminate hazards;
h)
Plan and present operational and storage equipment and logistic processes,
i)
Presenting and assessing opportunities and risks of operational cooperation, including taking into account operator models.
(3) The examination in Part II shall be carried out in writing. It shall not take more than two hours in each field of action and not more than six hours in one day. (4) The overall assessment of Part II shall be based on the arithmetic average of the individual evaluations of the fields of action referred to in paragraph 2. (5) If at most two of the fields of action referred to in paragraph 2 have been reached by at least 30 and less than 50 points, an oral supplementary examination may be carried out in one of these fields of action if they are to pass the existence of: of Part II of the Master Examination. (6) Minimum requirement for the existence of Part II the master's examination is a sufficient overall examination performance. The examination of Part II has not been passed if:
1.
a field of action has been evaluated with less than 30 points, or
2.
two fields of action have been evaluated with fewer than 50 points after the additional examination has been carried out.

§ 9 General examination and procedural regulations, further regulations for the Master Examination

(1) The provisions of the Master Examination Procedure Ordinance of 17 December 2001 (BGBl. 2) The examination in parts III and IV of the Master Examination is determined by the General Master Examination Regulation of 26 October 2009. § 10 Transitional provision

The provisions of § 8 (5) and (6) shall not apply to the examination procedures that have been initiated until 31 December 2011. These will be brought to an end in accordance with the previous regulations. Unofficial table of contents

Section 11 Entry into force

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 2010.
