In accordance with § 1 of the Annex to the Fifth Part of the Treaty of the War and Occupation of Occupied Questions-transfer contract-(in the list IV to the one on the 23. The Protocol on the termination of the occupation regime in the Federal Republic of Germany, signed in Paris in October 1954-Bundesgesetzblatt 1955 II p. 301, 405), in conjunction with Article 1 (1) of the Fifth Part of the Treaty The Federal Office for External Restitutions has been established as the Federal Supreme Authority. It shall be responsible, in accordance with Articles 1, 2, 4 and 5 and the Annex to the fifth part of the transmission contract, to:
a)
to research, record and restitute them according to jewelry, silverware and antique furniture, as well as for cultural goods, provided that such valuables are used during the occupation of an area by the troops or authorities of Germany or its Have been forcibly removed or have been forcibly removed from their individual members and are subject to the further conditions set out in Article 1 of the Fifth Part of the Transfer Treaty,
b)

The procedure for the notification and processing of claims pursuant to Articles 1, 2, 4 and 5 of the fifth part of the transmission contract and for the satisfaction of decisions based on such claims shall be governed by the provisions of the Annex to the fifth part of this Treaty.
