§ 1 Flight service

(1) Flight service within the meaning of § 43 (3) sentence 1 (1) of the Staff Regulations of Officials is any stay which is on board an aircraft for carrying out a flight order or other official order from the start of the start up to the Completion of landing is required. § 2 Particularly vulnerable flying personnel

(1) Officials responsible for:
1.
the crew of a jet-or turbine-powered start-flight,
2.
be trained as a crew member, a flight instructor or a test pilot, or be retrained to another type of aircraft,
3.
are part of the teaching staff for the training or test personnel responsible for the acceptance of flying tests,
4.
Carry out the service in accordance with § 1 (3),
5.
carry out a particularly dangerous order (Section 3 (1)),
6.
belong to the crew of an aircraft which is in a particularly dangerous flight or operating condition (Section 3 (3)),
are members of the particularly vulnerable flying personnel. (2) In the case of civil servants who fly on an aircraft of the federal, state or allied armed forces on the basis of a service, paragraph 1 shall apply mutatically. Unofficial table of contents

§ 3 Particularly dangerous order, flight or operating condition

(1) A particularly dangerous order (§ 2 para. 1 no. 5) is available for prescribed flights.
1.
at a flight altitude of less than 500 metres above the ground,
2.
with the discharge or discharge of objects,
3.
in the air rescue operation, the implementation of which is associated with a particular risk of life;
4.
in a slow flight, aerobatics or a flight of a bandage,
5.
for the performance of measurements in the context of air traffic control or meteorological sensing (measurement flight),
6.
in the mountains, at a lateral distance of less than 20 metres, to a steep wall,
7.
to test or fly new types of aircraft or aircraft in the context of an intended modification of the previous use,
8.
on the acceptance of new aircraft,
9.
for the inspection of overhauled aircraft or new or renewed essential parts of the aircraft,
10.
for the implementation of engine and equipment testing.
(2) A particularly dangerous contract within the meaning of paragraph 1 (1), (3), (4) and (6) shall be the same in cases where, by way of derogation from the flight order issued, the need for the geo-garden designated there shall not be necessary until after the start of the flight. (3) A particularly dangerous flight or operating condition (§ 2 para. 1 no. 6) is before
1.
for the duration of the start and landing process (§ 1 para. 2),
2.
for the duration of a passage of bad weather areas necessary for carrying out the flight order, if the aircraft must fly in accordance with instrument flight rules,
3.
if the aircraft is incapable of control.

§ 4 Helm and swimming divers

(1) Officials who are trained to underwater work with a helmet diving device, are held or used in exercise, are helmet divers. Officials who are trained in underwater work with a light diving device, are held or used in practice are swimming divers. (2) Particularly dangerous diving service is any service delivery,
1.
of the helmet diver from closing to the opening of the helmet window,
2.
of the swimming diver from the setting up to the settling of the swimming pool.

§ 5 Officials in the Bergrettungsdienst

(1) Officials responsible for:
1.
are mountain guides or take part in mountain guided tours,
2.
, for the sake of service, provide guidance,
3.
in the case of emergency aid, or
4.
training staff for rock and ice training,
(2) Bergrettungsdienst (Bergrettungsdienst) shall be the official in the Bergret Service. (2) Bergrettungsdienst shall be responsible for any kind of service which is carried out in the course of the use or training of the rescue aid in the field letterhead of difficulty III, In ice-skating from difficulty level II or under other conditions, with which a particular life risk is associated. Training is also all the service directions within the meaning of the sentence 1, which are necessary to keep the officer responsible for the mountain emergency aid in practice. § 6 Sub-munitions personnel

(1) Officials employed for the investigation of ammunition and officials serving as auxiliary staff shall be among the most vulnerable ammunition submissions personnel during the official handling of ammunition (paragraph 3). (2) Ammunition are all objects that contain explosives or consist of explosives. For the production of fire, smoke and artificial fog or any other effect, the objects may also contain other substances. § 7 Members of associations for special police operations

(1) Police officers who are employed or trained in the associations of the Federal Police and the corresponding police associations of the Länder in the associations of the Federal Police (Bundespolizei) are members of associations for the special police operations. § 8 Use in connection or suspension of external loads in a rotary wing aircraft

§ 9 Other members of the public service

Section 11 Entry into force

This Regulation shall enter into force with effect from 1 January 1977.
