Type 4 Calculation and adaptation requirements

(1) In calculating the increases referred to in Articles 1 and 2 and the calculations referred to in Article 3, the resulting fractions of a Pfennigs shall be less than 0.5 and fractions of 0.5 and more shall be rounded off; by way of derogation, the amounts of the Step 1 of the family allowance or the amount corresponding to this component to the next pfennig, provided that the determined amount is not divisible by two. By way of derogation from the first sentence, in the case of increases in Article 2 (1) (4) and (2), the resulting fractions of a German mark shall be rounded up or down accordingly to the full German mark. (2) The Federal Ministry of the Interior shall make the following provisions: 1, Article 2 (1) (4) and Article 2 (2) of the Bundesbesoldungsgesetz (Bundesbesoldungsgesetz) in the Federal Law Gazan.
