§ 1

The Federal Supervisory Office for the credit sector shall be empowered, after consultation of the Deutsche Bundesbank, with the consent of the Federal Minister of Finance, legal regulations in accordance with the provisions of the first sentence of Article 28 of the Law on the Treaty of 18 May 1990, on the establishment of a monetary, economic and social union between the Federal Republic of Germany and the German Democratic Republic. § 2

(1) This Regulation shall apply in accordance with Article 14 of the Third Law of the Convention of Law in connection with Article 36 of the law referred to in the introductory formula also in the Land of Berlin. (2) This Regulation shall also apply in accordance with the first sentence of Article 3 in conjunction with Annex I, Article 8 § 5 of the Treaty in the German Democratic Republic, including Berlin (East), as mentioned in the introductory formula. This Regulation shall enter into force on the day after the date of delivery.
