§ 1 Local competence

(1) The Office for the Promotion of Training, which is responsible for training in accordance with § 45 (4) of the Federal Education and Training Promotion Act, is intended for apprentices who visit a training centre which is situated
1.
in Asia, with the exception of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, in Spain or the Turkey-country of the state of Baden-Württemberg,
2.
in Liechtenstein, Austria or the Swiss Federal State of Bavaria,
3.
in Italy, San Marino, or Vatican City by the Land of Berlin,
4.
in Africa or in Oceania, through the Land of Brandenburg,
5.
in America, with the exception of the United States of America and, with the exception of Canada, the Land of Bremen,
6.
in the United States of America, the Land of Hamburg,
7.
in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Kosovo, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, Cyprus or Australia by the State of Hesse,
8.
in Sweden by the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania,
9.
in the United Kingdom or Irlandby the Land of Lower Saxony,
10.
Belgium, Luxembourg or the Netherlands by the Land of North-Rhine-Westphalia,
11.
in Andorra, France or Monacoby the state of Rhineland-Palatinate,
12.
in Malta or Portugalby the Saarland,
13.
in Finland, by the state of Saxony-Anhalt,
14.
in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Romania, the Russian Federation, Slovakia, Tajikistan, the Czech Republic, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Hungary, Uzbekistan, or Belarus through the state of Saxony,

in Canada, the country of Thuringia.
(2) Where a new State is formed, trainees who visit a training centre situated in its territory shall continue to have the local competence of the Office for the Promotion of Training, which is determined in accordance with paragraph 1. Unofficial table of contents

§ 2 Time-scope

This Regulation shall apply in the case of decisions relating to periods of consent which commend after 31 December 2011. For periods of authorisation which have begun in the period between 31 March 2004 and 1 January 2012, this Regulation shall apply in the version valid up to 31 December 2011. § 3 Entry into force, external force
