Type 1 Assent

(1) The Change of Music of 29. (1) April 1998 between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Kingdom of Denmark, the Hellenic Republic, the Italian Republic, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the Kingdom of Norway, the Portuguese Republic, the Kingdom of Spain and the Kingdom of Spain and the Kingdom of Spain and the Kingdom of Spain, Republic of Turkey on the legal status of its armed forces in the case of temporary rebates in the Federal Republic of Germany and the Declarations on Criminal Justice of the same day and of the Agreed Minutes of the 5. May 1997 is agreed.(2) The exchange of notes, the explanations of criminal jurisdiction and the Agreed Minutes shall be published below. Non-official table of contents

Type 2 damage handling

(1) For damages, Articles 6, 8 to 14, and 25 of the law are applicable to the Agreement between the parties to the North Atlantic Treaty of 19 June 1951 relating to the legal status of its troops and to the additional agreements of 3 June 1951. 18 August 1959 (Act on the NATO Staff Regulations and the Additional Agreements) of 18 August 1959. August 1961 (BGBl. 1961 II p. 1183), as last amended by the Act of 28. September 1994 (BGBl. 2594), as amended in each case.(2) Claims for damages against members of the armed forces of a Contracting Party arising out of acts or omissions not committed in the performance of the service shall be subject to the provisions of Article 2, first sentence, of Article 16 (5) of the Armed Forces Residence Act of the 20. Art 3 Jurisdiction

The Public Prosecutor's Office declares renunciation of the exercise of the German jurisdiction. In addition, Article 4a of the NATO Staff Regulations Act and the Additional Agreements are in force in the current version. Non-official table of contents

Type 4 Entry into force

(1) Article 1 enters into force on the day following the announcement of this law.(2) In addition, this law shall enter into force on the day on which the change of staff shall enter into force for the Federal Republic of Germany. The date of entry into force shall be published in the Bundesgesetzblatt (Federal Law Gazans).
