§ 1 Validate of the Federal Travel Cost Act, Service Travel Order and Approval

(1) Unless otherwise specified in this Regulation, the provisions of the Federal Travel Cost Act shall apply. § 2 Costing of expenses

(1) In the case of rail travel, the costs of using the first class shall be reimbursed. This shall not apply to the following countries:

§ 3 Foreign currency, foreign surcharge

(1) International and international overnight allowances shall be paid for travel abroad with an absence of 24 hours in the amount of the amounts due on the basis of surveys by general administrative provisions in accordance with § 16 of the Federal Travel Costing Act and published in the Joint Ministerial Gazan. In the cases of § 9 (4a) sentence 3 (2) and (3) of the Income Tax Law, the foreign currency amounts to 80 per cent of the total amount of the foreign currency in accordance with the first sentence; in the case of several international missions abroad on a calendar day, the periods of absence shall be added to that day. § 4 Cross-border crossing

(1) The foreign-day and international overnight stay or domestic and domestic overnight stay shall be determined according to the country that the international service traveller last reaches before midnight local time. § 5 Travel cost compensation for longer stay at the place of business, reimbursement of costs for the fitting of climate-friendly clothing

§ 6 illness during the foreign service trip

If a foreign service traveler is sick and cannot return to his/her place of residence, travel expenses compensation will be paid. § 7 Transitional provision
