§ 1 Objective of the preparatory service

§ 2 Training authority, training centres

§ 3 Duration of the preparatory service

§ 5 Basic Training

§ 6 Performance requirements

§ 7 Further theoretical and practical training

§ 9 Dismissal

§ 11 Reduction of training sections and extension of the preparatory service

§ 13 Purpose of examinations

§ 15 Time, place and sequence of examinations

Section 17 Evaluation of examinations

(1) The performance shall be evaluated by the following grades and rank:

Section 20 Preparation of the written examination

(1) The Examination Office shall draw up two task proposals for each subject which is the subject of the written examination (§ 19). Section 22 Evaluation of written work

the average score of the oral exam at 27 of the hundred.
(3) Insofar as the final average score is 5.0 or more, decimal positions are to be rounded up from 50 to 99 for the formation of the final grade; in other respects, decimal places are not taken into account for the formation of notes. Section 32 Repeal of an examination

(1) The candidates who did not pass the intermediate examination or the runway examination or whose examination is considered to have failed, can repeat the examination once. The Federal Ministry of the Interior may, in justified cases, allow a second repetition. (2) An examination can be repeated at the earliest after three months. (3) The examination must be repeated in full. Individual examinations cannot be issued. (4) The further training will not be suspended because of the repetition of the intermediate examination. (5) The preparatory service will be for candidates who did not pass the runway examination. until the completion of the repeal examination.

§ 33 Experimentation clause

(1) For the testing of new forms of training and examination, the following rules can be followed up to 31 December 2010 on the basis of an action-oriented curriculum:
1.
Proof of achievement is to be provided during the basic training and the further technical and practical training in at least six fields of action of the Federal Police. Performance certificates are sector-specific action-oriented tasks with written, oral or practical elements. In addition, § § 6 and 7 shall apply accordingly.
2.
During the course of the career course, performance certificates in accordance with the second sentence of number 1 in four areas of action of the Federal Police (tasks of the Federal Police Office, railway police tasks, border police tasks, Air safety tasks, including border police tasks at airports). In addition, § 8 shall apply accordingly.
3.
In the intermediate examination and in the runway examination, four complex task-oriented tasks are to be solved instead of the subject-related written examination papers. In addition, § § 16 and 19 apply accordingly.
4.
Instead of oral and practical examinations (§ 25), an action-oriented examination is carried out in at least two fields of action of the Federal Police. In addition, § 25 shall apply accordingly.
(2) The training management shall have the same conditions for the training and examination of the candidates concerned by the testing of a training-oriented training. (3) The candidates affected by the trial shall be responsible for the training and examination of the candidates. Candidates must be fully informed about the different training and examination modalities. (4) The test may relate only to two classes of training with a total of 50 candidates. (5) The test must be carried out in the following classes: to be scientifically accompanied by individual phases. In a final report, the results are to be presented and scientifically evaluated. Section 35 Entry into force
