§ 1

(1) For the official examination of a raw material content (Section 1 (1) of the Textile Labelling Act), the raw material composition of textile products in the case of binary textile fibre mixtures shall be determined.

which are listed in Annex I to the Council Directive of 17 July 1972 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to certain methods of quantitative analysis of binary textile fibre mixtures (Official Journal of the European Communities No 1) laying down detailed rules for the preparation of the preliminary samples and the samples of the analysis, and
2.
the methods of quantitative analysis laid down in Annex II to that Directive
, In this connection, Annex I No 7 replaces Article 9 of the Council Directive of 26 July 1971 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to textile names (Official Journal of the European Communities 16), Section 8 (1) of the Textile Labelling Act; in Annex II, General Part, in the eighth paragraph of the introduction to Annex II to the said Directive, Annex II to the textile labelling law and in point I. 6. (2) The annexes to the Directive referred to in the first sentence of the first sentence of the first sentence of paragraph 1 and 2 of the same Directive shall be replaced by the latest in the Official Journal of the European Communities. § 2

In the case of binary textile fibre mixtures, for which no quantitative analytical methods are required in Annex II to the Directive of 17 July 1972, or where the prescribed in individual cases are not applicable, the test site shall apply an appropriate method. In its report on the analysis, the inspection body shall specify the accuracy given in the method chosen. Unofficial table of contents

§ 3

For the purposes of this Regulation:
1.
a sample of a sample for analytical purposes from the laboratory collection samples taken from a supply of the material to be tested,
2.
an analysis sample of the part of the preliminary sample required to obtain an analysis result on a case-by-case basis.

§ 4

This Regulation shall apply in accordance with Section 14 of the Third Code of Transfer Law of 4 January 1952 (Bundesgesetzbl. I p. 1) in conjunction with Section 16 of the Textile Recognition Act, also in the Land of Berlin. Unofficial table of contents

§ 5
