Regulation on exceptions to section 56a of the medicines Act for protection against Bluetongue (AMG-Bluetongue exception Regulation) AMGBlauzAusnV Ausfertigung date: 07.04.2008 full quotation: "AMG-Bluetongue exception regulation by April 7, 2008 (BGBl. I p. 721)" footnote (+++ text detection from: 18.4.2008 +++) input formula on the basis of § 56 b of the German medicines act as amended by the notice of December 12, 2005 (BGBl. I pp. 3394) directed the Federal Ministry of food, agriculture and consumer protection in agreement with the Federal Ministry of health : § 1 of article 56a para 1 Nos. 2 and 3 of the medicines Act, may an insecticide or a repellent that is approved in another Member State of the European Union or another Contracting State to the agreement on the European economic area for the species to be treated are prescribed to protect against the bluetongue disease by a veterinarian or a veterinary surgeon, issued or applied, if a drug approved for the species to be treated not available in Germany.

Article 2 this regulation enters into force on the day after the announcement.
