Training

§ 1 Outline of Training

(1) The three-year training course for the elderly nurse and the senior caregiver comprises at least the theoretical and practical teaching of 2,100 hours listed in Appendix 1 and the practical training of 2,500 hours listed.(2) Of the 2,500 hours of practical training, at least 2,000 hours shall be allocated to the training in the facilities referred to in § 4 (3) sentence 1 of the Altennursing Act.(3) The training shall be carried out in alternation between sections of teaching and practical training.(4) The annual leave shall be granted in the non-teaching period. § 2 Practical training

(1) The training institution in accordance with § 4 (3) of the Senior Care Act must guarantee the right to a ensuring the proper implementation of practical training.(2) For the period of practical training, the training institution shall ensure the practical guidance of the student by a suitable specialist (practice instructor or practice instructor) on the basis of a training plan. § 3 Annual certificates, certificate of attendance

§ 5 State Examination

(1) The state examination comprises a written, oral and a practical part.(2) The written and the oral part of the examination shall be taken at the nursing school for the elderly, where the training is completed.(3) The competent authority may, for important reasons, allow exceptions to the rules referred to in paragraph 2. The chairmen of the participating audit committees must be heard beforehand.(4) The practical part of the examination shall be filed:
1.
in an institution pursuant to § 4 (3) sentence 1 no. 1 of the old-age care law in which the pupil or pupil has been trained, or
2.
in the home of a person in need of care, who is a member of an institution

§ 6 Examination Committee

§ 7 Technical committees

§ 8 Admission to the examination

(1) The chairman of the examination board decides at the request of the student, or of the pupil about the admission to the examination. § 9 preliminary notes

§ 10 Written part of the review

§ 11 Oral part of the examination

(1) The oral part of the examination shall cover the following learning fields:
1.
"Old people care for people and situation related",
2.
"Institutional and legal frameworks for the management of the old nursing home" as well as
3.
"Developing professional self-image" and "dealing with crises and difficult social situations".
(2) The oral part of the exam will be considered as an individual exam or Group examination with up to four students performed. In the case of points 1 to 3 of paragraph 1, the pupil or pupil shall not be examined for more than ten minutes.(3) The technical examiners within the meaning of section 7 (1) (2) shall take the examination and enact the services referred to in points 1 to 3 of paragraph 1. § 12 Practical part of the review

(1) The practical part of the audit consists of a task for comprehensive and planned care, including advice, supervision and support of an elderly person. It refers to the learning areas "Tasks and Concepts in the Care of the Elderly" and "Support of old people in the design of life". (2) The examination task consists of the written preparation of the care planning, from the implementation of the Care including advice, care and support of an elderly person and from a final reflection. § 16 Resignation of the examination

(1) If the student returns from the examination after the admission, the student shall be returned to the examination. the reasons for the resignation shall be notified immediately to the Chairman of the Audit Committee in writing. § 17 Consequences of failure, non-delivery of oversight work, interruption of review
