Training

§ 1 Structure of training

(1) The three-year training course for the elderly nurse and the elderly nurse comprises at least the theoretical and practical teaching of 2,100 hours listed in Appendix 1 and the practical training of 2,500 hours indicated. (2) 2,500 hours of practical training are provided for at least 2,000 hours on the training in the institutions mentioned in § 4 (3) sentence 1 of the Elderly Care Act. (3) The training is carried out in alternation between sections of the teaching and the practical training. (4) The annual leave shall be granted in the non-teaching period . § 2 Practical training

(1) The training institution in accordance with § 4 (3) of the German Geriatric Care Act must provide the guarantee for the proper implementation of the practical training. § 3 Annual certificates, certificate of attendance

(1) At the end of each year of training, the student's nursing school will give a certificate of achievement in teaching and practical training to the pupil. § 4 Benotung

The following notes shall apply to the services to be assessed in accordance with this Regulation:
"very good" (1), if the performance meets the requirements to a particular extent (for values up to below 1.5),
"good" (2), if the performance is fully compliant with the requirements (for values of 1.5 to less than 2.5),
"satisfactory" (3), if the performance in general meets the requirements (for values of 2.5 to less than 3.5),
"sufficient" (4), if the performance has defects, but as a whole still meets the requirements (for values of 3.5 to less than 4.5),
"defective" (5), if the performance does not meet the requirements, but makes it clear that the necessary basic knowledge is available and that the deficiencies can be remedied in the foreseeable future (for values of 4.5 to less than 5, 5),
"insufficient" (6), if the performance does not meet the requirements, and even the basic knowledge is so patchy that the defects cannot be remedied in the foreseeable future (for values from 5, 5).

Audit

§ 5 State Examination

(1) The state examination comprises a written part, an oral part and a practical part. (2) The written and oral part of the examination shall be taken at the nursing school for the elderly in which the training is completed. (3) The The competent authority may, for important reasons, allow exceptions to the rules referred to in paragraph 2. The chairmen of the participating examination committees are to be heard beforehand. (4) The practical part of the examination is filed:
1.
in an institution pursuant to § 4 (3) sentence 1 no. 1 of the Senior Care Act, in which the pupil or pupil has been trained, or
2.
in the home of a person in need of care, who is cared for by an institution in accordance with § 4 (3) sentence 1 No. 2 of the Senior Care Act, in which the pupil or pupil has been trained.

§ 6 Examination Committee

(1) An examination board shall be formed at each nursing school for the elderly, who shall be responsible for the proper conduct of the examination. It consists of the following members:
1.

Section 7 Technical committees

§ 8 Approval for Examination

(1) The chairperson of the examination board shall decide on the admission to the examination at the request of the pupil or the pupil. § 9 Prenotes

Section 10 Written part of the examination

(1) The written part of the examination shall comprise a supervisory work in each of the learning fields:

3.

(3) The tasks for the supervisory work shall be determined by the competent authority on the proposal of the nursing school for the elderly or the nursing school for the elderly. Section 11 Oral part of the examination

(1) The oral part of the examination shall cover the following learning fields:
1.
"Old people caring for persons and persons in a situation related to the situation",
2.
"taking into account the institutional and legal framework for the management of the elderly" as well as
3.
"Develop professional self-understanding" and "deal with crises and difficult social situations".
(2) The oral part of the examination shall be carried out as an individual examination or group examination with up to four pupils. In the case of points 1 to 3 of paragraph 1, the pupil shall not be examined for more than ten minutes. § 12 Practical part of the examination

§ 14 Existence of the Examination, Certificate

(1) The examination has been passed if each of the parts of the examination provided for in Article 5 (1) has been evaluated at least with the grade "sufficient". Section 16 Resignation of the Examination

(1) If the pupil or the pupil withers from the examination after admission, the reasons for the resignation shall be notified immediately to the Chairman of the Audit Committee in writing. § 17 Consequences of failure, non-disclosure of oversight work, interruption of examination

(1) If the pupil fails to carry out a review, does not issue a supervisory work or fails to do so in due time, the examination or the relevant part of the examination shall be deemed to have failed, if not a important reason. § 18 Administrative infringements, attempts at deception

The Chairman of the Audit Committee may, in the case of pupils who have seriously disturbed the proper conduct of the examination or have been found guilty of an attempt to deceive, the part of the examination in question to declare not passed; § 15 (1) shall apply accordingly. § 20 Certificate of approval

Section 21 Special arrangements for persons with evidence of formal qualifications acquired outside the scope of the geriatric care law
